Sushi is ok, but the service is extremely slow and the cashier was rude.

The Philly and California roll were okay. For the price you get a generous amount of food. The shrimp tempura roll was the best out of the three. The gyoza was good as well. Service was also good. It wasn’t busy but we were checked on. The decor inside borders tacky. A touch up would help this place stand out. I would probably return for another visit.

The food was alright. I feel like when a place try’s too much they miss on the quality of the food. They have a mix of Japanese food and Korean dishes.The sushi rice had a stronger taste than I prefer. The dumpling were good I also tried the kimchi fried rice it wasn’t very good. The restaurant is a bit run down but that’s normal with the other restaurants in the area waitress was very friendly and nice. Gave extra star for her

It took a long time to order food and wait for it to arrive. Sushi is def not high quality but it wasn't bad.

Honestly, kinda sad. The sushi was really bland, even wasabi and soy sauce couldn't make it less bland. I got ice cream mochi and the mochi was freezer burnt so it was brittle and gritty.

I will say the service was amazing, fast and very kind.

Great food. We eat there often!

Went back after 2 years to try it again, even worse. Everyone was done eating by time they bought my nieces PLAIN noodles 90 minutes (Same thing happened last time). Shrimp hibachi was plain and bland, table was never checked on, poor service. Only good thing was the bulgogli wasn't overly sweet this time.

It's a nice little spot to eat. Sushi and hibachi. 😋

This is a go to place it's close to my house and it is awesome.

This place is good. It's not bad. People seem to love Island Sushi but nothing here has ever blown me away. I've had a lot of different sushi here and they're all just /good/ (The tiki torch roll is pretty great tbh). I really only go here if friends want to or if I'm having a critical sushi craving. Decent place, decent service. Not too many sushi options this far down in SoMD unfortunately
