Had a reservation for a Birthday for just 6 people and still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Downfall to such a small place. Food was delicious, but drinks were just okay. Allison was the absolute best as a server and we so appreciated her! View is nice, restaurant could use some polish.

Wow! Stumbled on this little gem while searching for a friend's house on maps, and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did! The food and drinks were amazing. We started with the burrata caprese, my wife had the lobster ravioli and I had the fettuccine zafferano, then we finished off sharing the apple strudel and I had the chocolate martini. Allison was an exceptional waitress and would love to be sat with her again when we come back, which we definitely will!Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, with the restaurant being on the second floor, and stairs being the only access point, there doesn't seem to be any wheelchair access.

We go here all the time and love it. However, this time when I ordered my favorite strawberry coconut margarita it came out a peach color instead of its normal pink lemonade color. When I tried it, it was very strong on the lime and had no strawberry flavor. The server said that they had changed their recipe. She brought me another drink and I ended up not drinking it. Please change it back! Why change a good thing? I order 2 of these each visit. It's always my go to.

A great choice for good food and great views of the boats coming and going around Solomons. Generous, well-prepared portions, and a lively, friendly atmosphere. Our only disappointment was that we had a very long wait for a table to clear for our 7:30 reservation. We finally got seated around 8:15. Our table server was very good but we thought the receptionist had totally forgotten us by the time a table eventually became available.

There is an outside "enclosed" seating area with heaters but we opted to get a table by a window. We made a reservation (suggested) and our table was ready for us with no waiting. The waitress was friendly and pleasant. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are a good size. We enjoyed our meal and I wouldn't hesitate to dine there again or recommend La Vela!
