In the words of my friend, “I could cry right now”. That’s how good it was. Went to the CD cafe for the first time last night. And holy smokes. From the ambience, to Jessica our amazing bartender, to the well crafted menu. It was a beautiful time. We all can’t wait to stop in again. The flavorful fall menu was a treat in disguise and Jessica’s knowledge, commitment and passion spoke through the food and drinks. Well done! And thank you!
Jessica was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The food was best I've had in a long time from a restaurant, very pleased 😃
We went here for lunch and loved the atmosphere and the food absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back.

CD Cafe never disappoints! The food is always fresh and tasty, and I love that they introduce new special items all the time. Every visit feels like a new experience, and the specials are always worth trying.

Went by the other day for lunch to check it out. Read the reviews and most all had positive ratings. You always have a few that weren't so good. Things happen at any establishments. We went for lunch and had the Mediterranean pasta with chicken and one with lamb. Both were excellent. The service was great. Not a large crowd so very relaxing. We will take another trip out for maybe dinner and see how it goes. At least check it out if you get a chance.

One of our favorite restaurants in Solomon’s island! We have been coming here for many years and always enjoy the food, service and the atmosphere. Music with Ben Connelly on Tuesdays in the lounge. Wine dinners once a month last Monday with different themed cuisines and wines. If you are in the area check it out!

Been coming here since 2005. This place now has taken away the spirit that was CD Cafe. The new owners have ruined the menu, atmosphere and soul that most of us enjoyed. Last few times we have come here all I wanted to order was a burger because the rest was awful. We haven’t been back in 2 years.

Very disappointing. Went for lunch today (August 1) and had shrimp tacos (just ok) and a buffalo chicken wrap (very good). Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Very slow, and not even friendly. Plenty of good spots in this area - won't come back to this one.

This is a delightful restaurant with great food and service. The best place in Solomons Island. My wife and 10 year old son came here on the 3 July for dinner. We ordered the special (duck), scallops and shrimp curry and a burger. Everything was delicious. The key lime semi- freddo was also mouthwateringly good. They were very flexible with my son who just wanted a plain burger. I also had a fantastic cocktail (upside down pineapple and cherry Moscow mule). I highly recommend this place.

What a gem! Visited for dinner with my husband and 10 year old son during 4th of July weekend. The food was fantastic and the small boutique atmosphere was a relaxing departure from the usual waterfront fare. Can’t recommend enough.
Thank you CD Cafe for the absolute best crab cake sandwich. There was so much crab and it tasted so fresh. Oh my gosh- I can go on and on. For lunch, my husband and I shared the sandwich and chose the green salad as the accompaniment option. The crab cake sandwich was rather expensive at $47 USD but since we shared it and we were pleasantly full. CD Cafe has AC which was heavenly in the heat wave.
Totally delicious lunch at the CD Cafe! I never order appetizers but I could not pass up the Savory Cheesecake. A spread of goat cheese, walnuts and herbs with a sweet roasted red pepper sauce. So yummy. The roasted vegetarian sandwich was with a touch of feta cheese was tasty. My friend had the Popeye burger which he said was lip smacking (and he was). We both shared the key lime pie for dessert which was a perfect combination of light and dense. The cafe is intimate and light and just as refreshing as the food. Service was terrific. My only complaint is that I live in DC and the CD Cafe is too far away to just drop in. But it will be a destination.
High-end cooking for discerning palates. Gyro for lunch -- authentic. Crab cake also superb. Next day, swordfish for dinner -- cooked perfectly (though the veggies were a bit overwrought). Frenchified pork chop superb. Service -- marvelously attentive. Pricey, sure. But well worth it.
The new renovations and decor look amazing. CD Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in Solomons. The food is always amazing and I highly recommend their crème brûlées!
