I got the blackened Seafood dinner. The fish was overcooked and cold. But the other fried food was good. The Mac and cheese were cold.

I Love the Pier Restaurant. The food is excellent; unfortunately, the oysters have been a fail for me. The size is very small. The batter does not stick. They are greasy and small. Look like kibbles. After 3 attempts, I give up. Anyone know another restaurant that sells oysters are big enough to charge $26.00 I just wasted in money.

Scenic place to relax and admire the Patuxent River over classic American seafood dishes.
Greatly enjoyed the views of the birds, the river, and the bridge during sunset and into the evening. We would hear the occasional fish broach the water’s surface.
Their steamed shrimp, haddock bites, and chicken wings are go-to appetizers for our happy hours.
Customer service can be excellent here. However, service is not consistent perhaps due to mismatches between the number of available servers and the number of customers. Training would also be a consideration to standardize service levels.

A classic spot I’ve been to many times. The bowl of crab soup ($10) is overpriced and too small (basically a cup) with very little crab. The cup of soup is 9$ and I fear how tiny it is for that price. Fish tacos and haddock bites were good and the sunset view was lovely. Waitress was a bit dazed, and didn’t want to be working a summer job - but maybe that’s just gen z these days. That said - going to eat is not cheap and hospitality standards seem to be slipping on the island.
