I came with my girlfriend for a wine tasting. Basignani is a beautiful winery staffed with knowledgeable people who care about the experience. They exceeded my expectations. I look forward to a future visit.
Where to start! Nick, the sommelier, was outstanding. He provided us with a lovely description of the Basignani origin story. We paired several wines with the cheese plate which truly enhanced the flavor notes in the different wines. Probably one of the best wine tasting experiences Ive had (& I'm comparing that to my experience in Sonoma &Napa Valley). Would highly recommend visiting..and we'll return to try more wine and the brick oven pizza.
If you have not been to this Winery please do yourself a favor and go. Jerry did our wine tasting and he educated us and the whole experience was very informative. The wines were very, very good and we will be back.
