What a fabulous place; it's in a large stone house, with separate comfortable rooms and seating. The service was impeccable as was the food and wine from the menu where you can choose from 3-5 items, with dessert added. I had the heirloom tomatoes with creamy feta on a pesto bed, puff pastry with the most flavorful mushrooms, and halibut; all came with wine parings, with information on where the wine came from. Dessert for me was chocolate, mousse, cherries. Topped off with espresso. This restaurant is great for special occasions or to just sit with a glass of wine and indulge.

Wow! I was pretty unsure about the menu as I read it online because I normally like to eat the same things I always do. So glad we ventured out! The staff from the moment we walked in was very attentive and welcoming.
We usually visit the atlas group restaurants and I will say this was one of the best experiences we had. Nothing too crazy but they just did everything right. The food was amazing and not what I would normally order but so glad we did.
It was so cute how throughout the night you got a chefs present which was just right.
We had the pleasure of having John as our server. He was great in explaining the menu and having recommendations. His service was great as well as the rest of the servers.
I can not express how glad I am that we ventured out and we will definitely be back! My favorite drink is a margarita and it was the best one I ever had as well as the best soup I have ever had.
We started with a zucchini that was fried with an amazing sauce ( complementary appetizer from the chef, so good) we also enjoyed the roasted corn bisque soup ( so yummy), the chicken dish, lamb chop, and beef tenderloin was on point! Finished with a great coffee and espresso martini! We will definitely be back!

It's a pretty historical building with lots of different rooms with different decorative vibes. The food and drink varieties were amazing. We went during the restaurant week and the deal was worth it. We had a zero proof mocktail which was amazing too! The duck breast was spot on and very juicy. I really loved the dessert pistachio chocolate ice cream it's not too sweet and very rich. The service was amazing the entire night slightly slow but the waiters were very knowledgeable on the building and the menu and we're very friendly. We had a great time and would definitely come back to try the set tasting menu.

With exceptional staff and an atmosphere unmatched by any restaurant I have yet been to in the United States, the Milton Inn is the best choice for fine dining perhaps in the state of Maryland. The service is far better than any I have had in many years and the food is a unique culinary journey that needs to be experienced. Each room
In the restaurant is themed differently and has a distinct character that provides an individual atmosphere to each space. My new favorite restaurant.

The Milton Inn exceeded every expectation: an unforgettable birthday dinner in every way. The cuisine was exquisite, the service impeccable, and to top it off, restaurateur Tony graciously stopped by for a warm conversation before our departure.

Our waiter Jonathan S. really made our experience 5 stars. We celebrated our anniversary at the Milton Inn and were lucky enough to have Jonathan as our server. He was personable and delivered amazing service. The food was delicious but the overall experience and why we will be back all goes to Jonathan. 5 stars!!! I love this place

Had a great Mother's Day meal here with the family! To keep it simple, great flavors and quality! This place is a hidden gem!

Went early for happy hour and chose to sit outside. The hostess said only 4 tables were for the happy hour and the other 8 tables or so were for full price. The 4 happy hour tables were full. The other 8 were empty. The manager said we could sit there but had to pay full price. Their website says happy hour from 4-6pm and says nothing about limited seating or anything remotely close to suggesting otherwise. Pretty clear that the restaurant ha d a happy hour that was from 4-6. The manager, or representative was rude and would not accommodate us. She just said you can sit here and pay $28 for the hamburger that’s $16 at the table next to you. At that point it wasn’t about the money, it was about them not being honest and honoring what they were promoting. They write on their website about being very service oriented. They were anything but. Will not go back.

You totally missed the point in your response. It does not say “limited seating” or anything else to suggest it was limited seating outside on your website. It’s simply says Happy Hour from 4-6pm. Which is bait and switch advertising. I could report you, but not worth the wddort. Your people were rude and arrogant. Not going back as we have plenty of other great choices.

Went for their new tasting menu which was excellent. Foie gras was out of this world. Beef tartare is always a winner. Overall it was a great experience and my wife and I had a great dinner. Would certainly encourage the dining room for a special occasion.

Probably the rudest, most intrusive service I’ve experienced in quite some time. And I’m used to waitstaff in NYC and LA. This waiter made it clear from the start that our presence was an inconvenience.

Several times he interrupted our conversation mid sentence - didn’t even wait until a logical break. When we were first seated, we asked to put in an order for starters. He wouldn’t put those in until we ordered entrées. Ok, we’ll look through the menu. He returned shortly, stood there, and was impatient to take the orders. The drill included an explanation of the menu as if we couldn’t differentiate between where the wines and food were located (on facing pages). We skipped the starters and ordered entrées.

I was dining with my wife and a lady guest. My entrée was served first by reaching across the table. It was handed to me. The other two meals were served from that position as well. I would have expected the ladies to be served first and from the left - not doled out.

Later, he reached across my wife’s plate as he poured the water. First time, his sleeve dipped into her food. Second time, she had to preemptively move her plate.

Both he and a young lady kept trying to remove plates and glasses before we were finished with them - and even before our guest was finished her meal. Note: there were tables open around, including when we left. Even if “hurry them out before the next seating” is de rigueur on a Friday night, it certainly wasn’t necessary on a Sunday evening.

As we finished, I had folded my napkin and had my wrists resting on it. He awkwardly took my wife’s napkin from her and literally yanked mine out from under me.

It was a Sunday night. We obviously didn’t get the first string. It was awkward enough that we have no desire to return. Maybe my expectations were off—I came for an elegant meal and got a chain restaurant experience instead.

The food was fine. Nothing memorable, especially at that price point. Think ‘Miller’s Ale House’ at twice the price.
