Always looking for tasty BBQ in the Maryland suburban area. Glad I found this hidden gem just over the bridge. From a business ownership perspective this establishment is nailing all the key components of a successful enterprise. I only wish I was constantly surrounded by this delicious food where I work. I highly recommend the melt in your mouth brisket and surprisingly "zingy" pickles on the side. Being a BBQ lover myself the owner was happy to show me a tour of the pits which is just outside the seating area. They are clean, efficient and really want you to see the hard work that goes into every product they make and it shows. I'll be back for sure!

The best BBQ in at least a 50+mile radius. We live about 50 mins away on the other side of the bridge and make the drive to Kent island just to eat here.

Food is great, atmosphere is great, but don’t understand why they close @ 3 throughout the week. Tried to get dinner from them multiple times but get off work just a little too late. (3:15pm) You would think around dinner time would be the busy part of the day for them but they are closed during those hours.

I have been wanting pork belly for a long time, my google search lead me to this place. The pork belly was good and so is the brisket. My husband liked the wings with just dry rub he said it was the best he had so far.

Great bbq and basically only one on Island. The smoked wings are great as well as brisket and pork bbq. Reasonably priced for how good food is. Ambiance is business park but they have smoker out and some nice outdoor seating

Brisket and ribs approved by a former Texan who has enjoyed all the Hill country barbeque spots. Mashed potatoes and cole slaw were also great. Friendly welcoming staff, and restaurant also had spotlessly clean floors and tables- often a problem in barbeque joints. Well worth the price to get quality foods prepared with care and imagination. My new favorite barbeque restaurant in the mid-Atlantic.
My husband and I found this place by accident on a day trip across the bay bridge, we live in Glen Burnie. We ordered the platter for two and when it came out I was shocked at the amount of food. I ate a brisket sandwich with rice, greens and Cole slaw but tasted everything on the platter. It was magnificent, everything. We went and ordered some more sides to take home with our left over meat. I am definitely going to cross the bridge again to go back, oh and we got 1lb of ribs to go for our pastor.

Ordered food for a small event. The staff was extremely helpful with food and quantity decisions. Pulled pork, ribs and wings were all AMAZING. Everyone that ate it raved about the flavor of the BBQ. Wish I'd taken pictures as the food is such high quality! It was hot and ready for pick up and I could not recommend this place more! You will not be disappointed unless you don't order enough because it is DEEElicious!
We decided to give this place a try after my husband won a race and he received a gift card. We were celebrating out 25th wedding anniversary and boy this place did not disappoint. We ordered the platter for two and even had leftovers for dinner the next night. Only suggestion is put two rolls on the platter AND if you can put more ribs...they were fingerling licking awesome. And I am not even a rib person. Afterwards we walked out lunch off at the trail that is nearby. It was such a beautiful day and just perfect.

We hired Bark BBQ to cater our wedding welcome party for 50 guests, and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. With over 50 people in attendance, there was still plenty of food, and every guest couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was! Arlin, our main point of contact, was fantastic to work with—an incredibly kind and attentive person who helped us create a menu that was both within our budget and included a special touch of Armenian cuisine, adding a unique, personal touch to the evening. Bark BBQ truly exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience!
