Wonderful visit as usual! We go every Friday during our lunch break and while the food is great, the service is even BETTER!!! Tabitha goes above and beyond and my coworkers and I love her!
I’ve never had a bad meal there! Highly recommend !

Let me start by saying our service was great. It’s been over a year since I’ve been here. Came for my birthday there were 3 kids and two adults. For the price the food was mediocre. I got the filet and shrimp. Filet was perfect but the mashed potatoes and veggies lacked any flavor. Husband got crab cakes they were also very bland as well as his veggies. One kid had overcooked fish and chips… my martini was excellent and so was our server. Crab dip was also good. I just felt let down when spending $200 on a family dinner it should be excellent.
They need new cooks they need management the salt is moldy they can’t cook a burger
Great stop (and a great escape from bridge traffic)! Very reasonable prices. All items we ordered were high quality and delicious. I ordered the avocado crunch wrap, but the crab cake sandwich was our universally agreed upon favorite. Perfectly made and cooked. Also the side salads were really delightful - always a surprise considering how sad most side salads are. Good mixed greens tomatoes and cheese plus a tangy dressing. Would recommend that over the chips for your included side.

We had breakfast, lunch, and dessert from the Market during our stay at the The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
It's a quick service counter, so the menu is fairly limited.
They will bring your food to your table, so that's nice.
The cream of crab soup was absolutely delicious and quite a large portion.
I found the breakfast to be adequate, but not amazing.
The desserts were quite decadent! The peach cobbler cheesecake was a huge hit, followed by the chocolate peanut butter pie in popularity for our group. The coconut cream pie was quite mild, but very tasty.
We did have a strange situation with salt- my friend requested some and was brought a salt shaker so clumped that nothing could be shaken out of it. She unscrewed the top which showed that it had been filled wet, so the salt was in a clump at the top, complete with rust from the lid. :( Obviously, no salt was added.
Overall, I would recommend The Market as a quick service option.
Parking: There is plenty of free parking all around the resort.

I took my toddler to pick up our lunch which I have done several times before. However, it was very busy and the sign they used to have for online pickup was not there and I didn't see the food out like normal so I waited in line and it took a very long time so my toddler was getting a little antsy. I told the cashier I was there to pick up my food and she went and found it but didn't even apologize for the long wait or say they've changed up their process. So, our food was very cold and toddler was getting tired, but should have been a 5 minute pick up like normal. It's always very irksome when there is such poor customer service. At least apologize! Also, the soup we normally get was super sweet tasting so I don't know what they did with it this time but it was not good.

Rise up coffee, breakfast sandwiches until 11 am, delicious quiche, and take out salads and soups. Love this place!

Great place for sandwiches, Rise Up coffee, and baked goods. Good addition to the island as we didn't have a Cafe for quick options that are still high quality.
