The first thing we noticed as we got closer to the entrance was that all of the windows in this property had steel bars covering them. I instantly thought, "We will be completely protected inside if there is a riot between the police and gangs outside." I discovered that you need to be buzzed in by the owner to enter the restaurant as I was reaching to open the entrance. Once more, I thought to myself, this area is so safe since I know she won't buzz somebody with a pistol in a sock over their head.

Me and my workout buddy were searching for a non-local restaurant. We picked this place about 30 minutes away from home since it was a 4.2 star. As we approached the door, the first impression was this place has steel bars over all of their windows. Immediately I thought to myself, If there is a riot between the police and gangs outside, we will be totally protected inside. As I reached to open the door, I realized that the owner has to buzz you in to allow access to the restaurant. Again, I thought to myself, this place is so safe as I know for sure she isn’t about to buzz anyone wearing a sock over their head holding a gun… Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was a sign that said “please turn lights off when not in use.” Immediately I thought to myself, this restaurant is not only safe, but they also support conserving energy and protecting the environment.We ordered our food and proceeded to have a seat. I’m not exaggerating or anything , our meal was prepared in under 5 minutes. At our table were the most gorgeous Christmas flowers. I noticed that the owners overwater their plants which immediately struck made me believe this place is all about “More is better!”During the short 30 minutes we spent eating, approx. 75 customers entered the establishment. Roughly 20 customers called the short Asian lady behind the counter Momma. Immediately I thought to myself, man not only does the owner have a great establishment but lord she birthed a lot of children too.The food was a 4.8.The service was a 4.9 (because I had to ask for ketchup).I give the atmosphere 5.Cleanliness was a 4.6 (the owners provide hand sanitizer to all customers)I give this place a 4.8 star!Parking: People park everywhere. Everyone just wants to eat at Food Bag!Kid-friendliness: Kids love breakfast.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs.

Food was disgusting! My first time there. I was looking for somewhere close I been driving all night and starving so I could eat anything. There was a couple people outside and it’s 630am so I’m thinking great. Nope!!!! Grits loose and tasteless. No flavor on anything . Eggs steak nor grits. Steak is very dry and small. The meal was worth less than $10 but cost me $20. Very disappointing.. DoNot recommend! I don’t know if they were having a bad morning bc I see a lot of the neighborhood recommend this food or people jus don’t know what food should taste like but I am very dissatisfied
