I visited Silvestre Chicken one Saturday night, just 30 minutes before closing, and admittedly, I didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Upon a friend's recommendation, I opted for the steak and shrimp fajitas with a side of pinto beans, the pinto beans were spoiled (yuck). The fajitas came with generous portions of meat, enough for two meals, along with flavorful seasoning throughout. I also decided to try the half roasted chicken, which was decent but didn't quite stand out compared to other places I've Overall, Silvestre Chicken exceeded my expectations for a last-minute dining option, offering flavorful dishes that beat settling for fast food any day. I wasn't to give the quesadilla a try next. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

I bought a chicken Cascadia from the one in Hyattsville and in my food I found Shrimp which I am allergic to,I am very disappointed because it could have gone bad for me lucky I wasn't the one who had all of it, my sister ate the most of it, I only had half of Cascadia.

This is hands-down, the best Silvestre location in my opinion. I always call and order my food and it's always ready for pick up when I go. The service is phenomenal and so is the food. My go to order is a steak taco bowl. The steak is always very tender and well seasoned. The taco bowl is always overflowing and the amount of steak that you get for the price is amazing. Both the green and orange sauces, put all of the dishes over the top. I've also had their pupusa and tamales. I love a good pupusa and the curdito that comes with it is so fresh. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to go to when I don't wanna cook

I went here for Papusas: they were like mozzarella cakes, not like Angels Bakery in landover. I now know all papusas aren't the same. The papusas are terrible, beans lack flavor, the drinks and service is good. Also they give a lot of fries, the prices are cool.

This is my second visit. I placed an order for the shrimp and rotisserie chicken taco bowl. It was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order again. It is enough food to last for 2 additional lunches. The sauce are ?. I combine them together. This is my new favorite place. I will try a different menu item with each visit. This was a recommendation from a neighbor...never paid attention to the restaurant since I was stuck on Sardis.

The young female attendant at the front, there are 2. One was a delight the younger one ( I'm assuming) needs to take a course or be shown how to properly interact with patrons. As I was placing my order today and revising it aloud she asked was I ok. To which I replied yes, I'm fine why? She proceeded to say she didn't like the way I was talking. So I in turn asked if she was ok because at this point I knew she was going to be a problem and not very helpful with revising my large order. I have never had an issue prior to today and I've been patronizing this establishment for many many years. Luckily she caught me on a good day and I was in no mood to match her immature energy. ? The point of this review is to put the older staff on notice to keep any immature, confrontational, impatient staff in the back and away from hardworking, patrons spending money to advance your establishment.

Sylvester's is always up to go to when I don't know what to eat when I want to eat out The food is pretty good and the service is very friendly The only thing about Sylvester's if you don't order a head you're in for a long wait. But the only reason you wait so long is because they guarantee that they cook your food fresh.Parking: There's parking in the back ... Personally I do not like the parking it's sit of a busy street

I ordered the steak and shrimp burrito, it was everything dreams are made of, it was flavorful and juicy, pause. This is the best steak burrito I had in my 33 years of living. Be sure to ask for extra napkins and a blanket.

Best local.spot. I had chicken and shrimp fajitas, rice, and beans. My food was fresh, hot, and the portions exceeded the amount. The employees were very nice and patient my first time there asking so many damn questions and making changes to my order.

The food here is always delicious. The only suggestion I would give is to never run out of chicken as it's one of the main dishes. Other than that the service is great and the restaurant is clean. Again try not to run out of chicken.
