G.L. Shacks Grill offers perfect food every time, especially on Burger Night. The menu has great options and rotating specials, but the food quality is inconsistent and disappointing. Regulars enjoy the bar, but wish the food matched the same level of satisfaction.
The atmosphere can be a bit awkward with some uncomfortable encounters, but the service is good, and the bartenders are attentive. The young lady working as a server and behind the bar was wonderful, with a great personality, helpful, and quick service.
Customers have described the cheesesteak sub as very good and well-presented, with a soft and fresh roll and complementary ingredients. The coleslaw was freshly made, but not everyone's preference. The fries, though acceptable, could be improved with fresh frying oil.
Overall, G.L. Shacks Grill provides a satisfactory dining experience, with a focus on the bar and drinks. The management should consider addressing the inconsistencies in the food quality to better align with the positive aspects of the establishment.
