Patapsco Distilling Company

I was lucky enough to final get to visit this little gem. They have a nice range of products and you're sure to find some favorites. Lauren was wonderful. She's extremely knowledgeable about the spirits and mixes outstanding cocktails. I was also lucky enough to get to meet the distiller, Dana. It was a real pleasure to talk to her about her craft. I'll definitely be back. Cheers!

I visited this distillery and began admiring the machines, not realizing I had stepped near an “employees only” area. I wasn’t touching anything—just looking. Suddenly, one of the staff members (possibly the owner) started yelling at me about how expensive the equipment was. That reaction felt completely unnecessary.

The place itself is nice, but the customer service was disappointing. To be honest, the liquor isn’t impressive either—both overpriced and underwhelming. What bothered me most was noticing how differently we were treated compared to others in the store. Was it because of our skin color? If so, that’s unacceptable.

We stop here when we are in Maryland. We bought six bottles of their spirits including the lemoncello and nocino liqoures. My husband's uncle was one of the people who reported a big foot siting, so we bought one of their big foot t shirts.

Fantastic cocktails and service! If you're in the area it's 1000% worth the time to stop and sample some drinks or try a cocktail. The fall menu is amazing! Parking across the street in the free public parking is also easy.

Great Friday evening on Main Street sipping on tasty cocktails, nice breeze and live music. Enjoyed a watermelon refresher and a mango cooler.

I have given this place three chances to make me feel disrespected and every time I go back, both my partner and I are disrespected by Laurie or Lauren or whatever her name is. I will NEVER return or recommend this establishment to anyone again because of her.
Please note if you look a certain way and over tip and purchase products that are sold in the store and still disrespected DO NOT support a business that and if they have employees that encourage other employees to treat paying customers like beggars. DO NOT SUPPORT! This place does have mostly a Caucasian crowd and other places do like EW Beck’s, however I never go anywhere in downtown Sykesville and ever felt this disrespected. PS their spirits are “good” not of top shelf alcohol quality I usually consume. I will miss the ginger syrup.

Love this place! Particularly Friday nights in the summer when they have a food truck and live music. They make a killer Lime Crush, and their Old Fashion is incredible too!

Lauren and Taylor are the best bartenders I know. Patapsco’s cocktails are the most reasonably priced on sykesville main street and all of them are delicious! We come in just to hang out with the bartenders because they make our day 100% better. Love love love them

This place is wonderful. This is my second time being here. The bartenders are friendly and personable. The drinks are great. They have a huge menu of tasty drinks. I honestly would love to do a tasting of them all. Every drink i have tried so far has been awesome. Solid little place. Cheers!

an absolute must. The old-fashion is simply astounding

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here on a Farmers Market Sunday, got to meet the Owners and Head Distiller who loved the area and town which was nice since I've lived here my whole life and finally got to see this historic building changed into something for the community to enjoy, look forward to coming here moreThe Gin here is absolutely Incredible as well as the Lime & Lemoncello ?
