I just got saved by Shawn in parts. It was the smallest part, but a job that needs to be completed quickly. Thank you for being willing to go above and beyond for a fellow parts department ☺️

We had our annual Christmas party at Tall Timbers Marina and we couldn't be happier. The food was great and so was the service. They have great gluten free and alpha gal friendly menu options. Definitely would recommend them!

Intentionally and with enthusiasm; give this marina a visit.I'll be forward. Don't expect a full service arrival off season. This is a marina of modest and humble means. A true relic of maritime community and origin. Sitting just off the mouth of the Potomac a few miles up the river, you can find a wonderful little marina and the Reluctant Navigator Restaurant where the regulars gather to enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast.Serious sailors and casual boaters alike should find this little nook of Herring Creek to be a safe haven from inclimate weather and teeming with help and hospitality. Be mindful of the tides if you have a draft over 3 or 4 feet. The channel can be shallow.Hot coffee and a nicely thought-out breakfast bar are sure to suit most, and perhaps even delight those with a hankering for some homestyle food. You know, the kind of plate you add your biscuits, cornbeef and hash, bacon, and sausage and then smother it in gravy. It's sure to satisfy those empty stomach hunger pains and warm you to the core.Having trouble finding the place, call them up, and perhaps you will get a hold of Rick or another one of his crew that can help you navigate your way into the creek.Don't forget to fill up at the fuel dock on the way out. You will also want to grab some swag to commemorate the visit, so check out the supply of hats, t-shirts, and long-sleeved boating shirts.Look them up online or give them a call to find out all they offer.

I had gone through 3 other marine mechanics before I took my boat down to Casey at Tall Timbers. He took the time to figure out the problem and get it running, was very communicative and even took the time to call and check the first time I took it out. He’s worth the drive down to Southern Maryland.

Came there Saturday March 4, 2023 at 5:05 pm they were closed. Was not happy, they say they open at 5pm.

Came into the marina unannounced due to weather and high seas. While the marina was closed foe Thanksgiving I met the owners son who appeared to be working anyway. Great covered spot for us to park the boat until we can get back and take The Viking back to the home port at Flag Harbor Marina. Thank you very much for the refreshments as well!!!

Oh my goodness we love this place! It’s such a happy and friendly atmosphere. It’s clear that the owners and staff love what they do. The main meal (veggie burger and huge crab cake) were amazing but the star of the show was definitely the smoked oysters. Amazing!! Take the time to make the visit. You won’t be disappointed. And you can drop you boat or kayak in on site. A great destination for many occasions.
