First time here, but still definitely be back. The owner used to own Old Salty's, and is you liked that place, you'll love Boats and Hose.

Please read the review all the way through… we were there at 6 on a Saturday night.. the restaurant is small, kitchen is small… we were seated in the side room.. there was a mini split dripping water on us so we knew it was working but it was hot in that little room… uncomfortably hot… our server was covering our table and tables in the main room… she was doing her best but our table definitely wasn’t her priority… we waited over 15 min for a round and we ended up going onto bar to pay our bill.. I felt like they were understaffed… not her problem… but it left an impression… now on to the food.. cream of crab soup … presentation was impressive… lumped crab meat sitting on top but to be honest, I’ve had better.. it was good, not great… dinner was yummy!! I had topped filets was lump crab and fresh corn on the cob.. hunny had the trio appetizer and added an ear of corn to make it dinner… overall it was a good experience and we will be back.. just not when it’s incredibly hot.
