Shout out to ProCakes! A huge thank you to Erica and the entire ProCakes staff for making my daughter’s 15th birthday absolutely phenomenal with their strawberry shortcake crunch cake.
Not only was it delicious beyond words, but it was also beautiful. The fresh strawberries on top, the cream, the icing it was just perfect. Moist, flavorful, not too sweet but just enough to keep you wanting another bite. Truly a cake that looked as good as it tasted.
ProCakes is top tier at this point. I won’t even shop anywhere else. I’m already planning to come back for the snickerdoodle cookies, the red velvet cake, the lemon cake, the strawberry cake, and of course another strawberry crunch cake.
This cake brought my daughter’s milestone birthday to the next level. Ending the night singing happy birthday with that ProCakes masterpiece on the table was unforgettable.
The cake was a 10/10, the customer service was a 10/10, everything about the experience was a 10/10. From their Iverson Mall location to their new St. Barnabas Road spot this is hands down the BEST bakery in the DMV.
If you’re celebrating a birthday, graduation, wedding, or even honoring someone’s life ProCakes should be your go-to bakery. Highly recommend!

We recently stopped by ProCakes, a new location (moved from Iverson Mall). Black-owned bakery, and it was an absolute treat! The prices were refreshingly affordable, with generous $5 cookie bags filled with melt-in-your-mouth Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip cookies that were soft, fresh, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed a perfectly spiced mini sweet potato pie that tasted just like homemade. To top it off, the Strawberry and Mango Lemonades were freshly blended and incredibly refreshing. Every item was delicious—ProCakes is definitely a new favorite and worth the visit! Highly Recommend!!!

I had a posted experience at pro cakes! I’m just finding them on Google maps so if they were in the neighborhood and wanted to try them out for my nieces birthday party. I purchased a dozen strawberry cupcakes the day before refrigerated done and made sure that the cups were out three hours before the event so that they were served at room temperature.. It was absolutely delicious even a day! And I just love the fact that they were too sweet, but very moist

Yes, yes & YES!!! So happy to have stumbled across Pro Cakes! In fact, if anything, I’m just disappointed in myself that it took me this long to discover them.
I was initially on the hunt to find a local bakery that could make a Valentine’s Day cake! And as I started researching, I stumbled across the infamous Pro Cakes and the story behind its CEO having been on Cake Wars.
As it was my first visit, I decided to get a selection of their cookies… Including their infamous Sinkerdoodle & some cupcakes!!
Literally ALL of them were delicious and I cannot wait to go back to try more of their selections & have a cake made for a special event.

We bought three dozen cupcakes, all flavors for my Sisters 60th birthday party! The entire family can’t stop taking about these cupcakes! We are all cooks and bakers so this is big!! The cupcakes were worth with the cost with the best customer service! The nice young lady even helped carry the cupcakes to the car on the coldest day January 2025! We will be back!

I was told that there was a new bakery shop in Iverson Mall. I have not been to this mall in years, but was told by one of my friends to try it out. I was speaking with the owner and got a warm welcome! I love supporting small owned businesses and bought the snickerdoodles. I will definitely visit again.

Wanted something sweet on my 2hr drive home from DC stopped in iverson and didn’t realize they were about to close but they still gave me and my friend a sample of the snicker doodle which was delicious. Everything made that morning and the cupcakes definitely tasted home made. I’m a fan of red velvet so I would recommend that the banana pudding was excellent. Wish I would have got some snickerdoodles. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely be stopping by.
