Some of the best crabs in Maryland, and you can’t beat the view

Crabs are wayyyyyy overpriced. They are good. But they should not cost that much.
During our stay at Knapps Narrows a large group of us made a reservation for a Wednesday night dinner.
Note: we came by boat and they didn't have any really good docking for a dinghy; not well kept and no ladders. They really should offer a shuttle as there's people who are unable to walk or bike. However, they've definitely done a nice job of fixing up the old Harrison's. The deck and view were lovely.
The gazpacho, crabs, corn, and bread were good. The crabs were a decent price and there were only a few that were light. Others in our party enjoyed the steak and frites as well as the cream of crab. Some said it had too much sherry in it while others asked for more to add; cream of crab is a personal type of soup. The cocktails were okay however, you're paying $14 for a small plastic glass.
They wouldn't split the check and added 22% gratuity. They actually would've made more had they split them up. It definitely irritated some in our group.
Overall a good experience with some room for improvement.

We had a wonderful time! Our waitress was great, very friendly and helpful. The crabs and oysters were so tasty. We loved being able to watch the sunset on the bay as we were eating.

Wonderful stop off during our boat day on the bay. Just had drinks on the dock pavilion but was breezy & out of the sun.

Just about the best spot in Talbot County if you are looking for a great view, great food and Eastern Shore atmosphere.

Service was friendly and servers were attentive. The food was fresh and hot when it came out (I ordered a pound of steamed shrimp and the smallest portion of steamed blue crabs fresh off the boat). The food was not seasoned well and I needed to coat it with Old Bay to make not taste bland.
My wife got the crab cakes where were loaded with mostly crab meat but again, the seasoning just wasn't there. The crab bisque was rich, but lacked a significant amount of lump crab.
I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get. The atmosphere was nice being out on the water. The main issue was the lack of seasoning in the food.

There’s something foul about their meats. I’ve given this place a fair shot; on both occasions our waitress Ashley was incredible! However, the food I cannot say the same…

Stopped in on a holiday weekend. No table available which I completely understand. We were offered a spot at the bar. Bar tender seemed to be overwhelmed and not very friendly. When we received our drinks and finally a menu we decided to just get something small and move on. Ordered crab soup which was ok at $18 and the crab hush puppies at $17. The hush puppies were a very small portion without the hint of crab flavor. Way overpriced for what you get. The location is very nice but Ticklers could do better.

Both food and service were poor and food prices varied depending on various menus presented. Both soups and hamburgers were extremely salty, almost uneatable. First menu presented showed a price of $22 for a half dozen steamed crabs which seemed reasonable. However when the bill arrived it showed a cost of $55 which was way over priced for small crabs. When questioned, we were first told the crabs were charged at market price and then the manager showed us a menu we had never seen that showed the crabs at $55 for a half dozen and $100 for a dozen. Bot totals are well above the norm for the Chesapeake Bay Area. The waiter never offered us water when we arrived and he failed to initially submit our order for dessert. Bottom line this is a restaurant we would never recommend to family or friends.
Really cool spot with can’t miss views of the water. Service was great and they have a large menu filled with fresh seafood. We ordered a half dozen crabs and they threw in several extras. Reservations are recommended, especially for mid-late afternoon. Check Bay Bridge traffic if coming from Annapolis!
