The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille

I come to this turtle often and never have had issues with service like I did last night. The bartenders upstairs were completely inattentive sitting at the bar and not taking drink orders. I did not get greeted or waited on for at least 10 minutes, when I call to get their attention I still didn’t get served and someone else had to come over. Disappointing because I like coming to this bar and never been treated like this

Wings, nah, Crab Cakes boring and dry, if your lucky to get your food on time and accurate. They are more interested in doordash and uber eats than the customer sitting in the restaurant. Highly recommend...NOT!! It's a sports bar, you get what is expected. Only positive, Stephanie the bartender/Server!!

My first and last time going into this establishment; Me and my friend came here around 9:00pm looking for a nice restaurant to eat and catch up. We’ve heard of ‘Green Turtle’ before and decided to try it. When I first walked in I didn’t sense a welcoming vibe at all (I just had a gut feeling as if we weren’t suppose to be there). As we walked in a young waiter was checking on a table and we made eye contact.

As he walked towards us, another older waiter (with gray hair and a shaven bread) went up to the young waiter and spoke to him having him turn around and go in the back (I’m guessing where the kitchen or employee area is). The older waiter came up to us asking “How may I help you” as if we weren’t there to eat just like everyone else. I replied “We would like a table for 2 please.” At this point we’ve been standing there for about a minute so I could clearly see open tables next to others and some more towards the back.

The older waiter proceeds to say “There are no more tables left right now, sorry” I don’t know if they were just short staffed or it was too crowded which it didn’t seem like it, but when he said that I looked at my friend with confusion. Mind you me and my friend are A.A, so when he did say that I felt as if we were being discriminated against. I understand if they were short-staffed but it’s like as soon as we walked in we had to turn back around. They didn’t offer us a wait time or anything.

Long after this encounter we went to another green turtle the service + the food was amazing. Plus they were way more crowed than the first one we went to. I wouldn’t recommend this specific location to other people just based on this first impression. Hopefully there’s better service by now and no one has to go through that when they walk into a restaurant.

For what I spent I expect fresh food. The crab cake sandwich was NOT fresh and has a weird taste too it as if it has been sitting out all day. It was flavorless and the fries were burnt yet soggy!!

Emily provided phenomenal service from start to finish. She was incredibly attentive, helpful, and made my family and I feel truly welcomed and cared for. Her warm personality and attention to detail made our dining experience unforgettable. Thank you, Emily, for going above and beyond!

Went in last night for karaoke and Love Island and had a wonderful time with my friends! Our server Campbell was phenomenal and gave us exceptional service despite how busy it was! Almost every table in the place was full and yet he still made time to interact with each of us with a smile. At the end of the night we moved to the bar and were helped by Emily who was equally as excellent! I will definitely be returning here in the future for more events.

Shady behavior at the bar. The bartender wrote additional tip to herself after I signed the receipt.

Went on 7/5, and had a few beer. The bartender added an 18% tip without telling me, and then added an extra 50 cents to the tip after I signed the receipt. That’s straight-up dishonest. Small amount, but still stealing. I am sure I am not the only victim. The service was subpar.

If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be coming back. Reported it to corporate.

Edit: GM refunded the tip+stolen amount and assured disciplinary action will be taken.
