One of the stops on the Md ice cream trail. The hikes are kid friendly so we choose a more challenging hike. Today was Wolf Den in Catoctin. Happy Cow's ice cream was amazing, so creamy and great flavors. This was a good place for families with little kids. They also sold their meat and dairy products.

We were camping nearby and found this gem online. Great ice cream with a few signature flavors. This shop is on a working farm, with animals you can feed, and a playground. Loved it.

Worth the trip!
My bf got a soft serve twist.
I had there "flurry" and both were very tasty. The views were lovely and a cute spot for children to play.

Happy Cow is a hidden gem, beautifully situated right outside Libertytown. The ice cream offerings were delicious, and the atmosphere was idyllic, ideal for a couple’s date or a young family’s outing. We’ll be returning soon!

I'm so glad we discovered Happy Cow Creamery! The ice cream is delicious and the staff are friendly. The views are stunning. My 7 year-old had a great time playing and we both loved seeing the animals. There was lots of seating available (with umbrellas for shade!) and parking was super easy.

Blackberry ice cream was great.

The milk and ice cream are great, but the meat just wasn't good at all. Bought various cuts (filets, arm chuck, eye of round, osso bucco, and ground beef), all of them had a very strange after taste even when rare. Decided to dispose of the remaining 5 lbs.Edit/reply: added the cuts above, and since you doubt this is real, just look through your receipts for the $208.29 charge on feb1, and know that it won't happen again. Based on all your other awesome replies to reviews, not surprised that you attempted to invalidate my review so you can pretend you're good at business and customer service. (Sorry, you're not.)How about you stop selling beef from diseased cows?You might even find yourself with a chargeback for your diseased beef and awesome customer service.
