I ordered a DoorDash order with this location. I was assigned a Dasher who cancelled , and then was assigned another young lady. When she arrived to the store she was told my order was already picked up ( assuming by the first dasher who cancelled ). So I spoke with the young lady who answered when I called about rectifying the situation , she offered no options saying at “it was close to closing so the food was put away they couldn’t remake it” , I asked to speak with the manager . The manager got on the phone stated she was the general manager and told me she could not remake my order because they did not get paid for it, and that I need to call door dash ( I had plans on doing so afterwards to report the first dasher) I told her I was not looking for a refund just my food . She basically told me she was not making the food and to take it up with DoorDash. I asked her for a corporate office and she stated they did not have one. After going back and forth with her I hung up and called a different location where 2 other managers ( Brian, Bowie location & Lance London ) collaborated and was able to get me a new order which I truly appreciate.
As far as this location customer service was 0 and the “manager” was rude.
The food was just ok. Doesn't seem as good as it use to be. Plenty of parking. Service was pretty fast. Food quality was ok. I ordered fried chicken, greens and Mac and cheese. The green and Mac and cheese was decent. The chicken was overcooked and dry. I would give them one more try because it used to be really good.

Prices are high for the amount of food that u get.. Ex. Medium Cabbage was $10 and it was horrible 😫 The first batch that I tasted was good but I had some from the next batch.. I won't do that again.. The best thing that I had was the baked chicken.. It was scrumptious 😋 and tasty

The food was really not tasty. The greens tasted like nothing but black pepper as did the meatloaf. The workers weren't really patient and were trying to rush you along. The ambiance of the restaurant was good but the food and service are a no for me

It's southern cooking at a fast food output. As someone who lives less than 30 miles from the North Carolina border, and have made frequent trips to the state, I have a solid idea of Carolina cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly and expedient. The fish sandwhich is serve HOT and delicious. My only criticism is the quality of the food suffers to meet the high demand. The seasoning was lacking in the fried chicken. I give HUGE kudos to the manager because her hospitality was very much North Carolina all the way in Maryland. It would definitely serve better for the prices to be a bit better. At an average of $20/plate the quality should continously be restaurant equivalent. Great food for those north of the Mason-Dixon. Equal to a takeout spot south of Richmond.

Soul food. You seat yourself. About 12 of us, small sections. Warm welcome once in line. Its a buffet server style. You order what you want in a line and get to see the food. Order BBQ, mac and greens. Didn't care too much for the mac and cheese. Catfish was a 20 minute wait so My husband ordered whiting, black eyed peas and yams. Not complaining from him. The honey butter cornbread and desserts stole the show. Cost about $20 person people. No waiters and no trash cans.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday. The staff here is extremely rude. The short girl operating the register argued with me when I told her that there were only 2 people in my party, and not 4. She also acted as though she was being inconvenienced by ringing up the order. The food quality was also not that great.

Good: service was excellent. The place is clean despite high turnover.
Bad: The North Carolina BBQ sandwich came drenched in a cloyingly sweet bbq sauce and with no other real flavor. so it isn't NC BBQ. It was served on slices of loaf bread instead of a bun which equals nasty, soggy and falling apart. There's fat, gristle and bones hidden in the sandwich as a choke hazard and tooth cracker. The mac&Cheese is an unnatural shade of orange and the noodles are very over cooked. Menu says the sandwich comes with coleslaw. None was received
