Comfort Inn Largo-Washington DC East

I chose this hotel to stay at because it was in the middle between my granddaughter's home & The Show Place Arena, where she was graduating from high school. Before making the reservation, I read several reviews about the hotel on it's webpage and I was almost reluctant to finalize my stay there. The reviews were a mixed bag of good and bad. So, after speaking with my wife, I decided to go ahead with our 2-night reservation and I am glad I did.
Upon our arrival, the agent on duty, Rica, tried to tell me that my card wasn't one that they accept. She tried to tell me that it was a card on the level with something from Chime, CashApp or one of that nature. I insisted that my card wasn't one of te but a card issued by US Bank. And I assume that she also found that out once she ran it and my reservation was paid for.
Once in my room, I inspected the bathroom, pulled the sheets back to make sure they were clean and gave the room a good once over. Once I was satisfied, my wife and I said a prayer of thanks and proceeded to have a great stay.
The only amenity we used was the breakfast. The first morning we came down about 830am and had a decent breakfast. One of the waffle makers was down, so that created a line but hey, it was a free breakfast. The 2nd morning we came down a little earlier, 800am, but the arrival of a group by bus the previous day created a little havoc for the breakfast room staff. They handled it the best they could and everything turned out ok.
In my room, the only issue that we found was the leak from the bathtub. You could only hear it while utilizing the toilet. The towels were good quality and didn't scratch you once you got out of the shower. The mattress was nice and firm, air from the air conditioner was definitely to my wife's liking, COLD!!
One last thing about the night we checked in, I came back downstairs to use the business computer and Rica told me that I couldn't print from the printer next to it. I would have to email my print request to the front desk and it would be printed from there. Once I had my printed page, I had a request of Rica that I'm sure she hadn't had before. In between checking in guests that night, she helped me with my request and I have to say that she did it with professionalism. Take a chance here and it might just surprise you.

The check in process was friendly, polite, and easy.
My room was clean and comfortable.
The check receptionist was warmly greeting and concerned with how my stay was.
Breakfast was typical with no complaints.
I would stay here many more times.

Affordable stay for indoor swimming

Great customer service, great for indoor swimming for kids.

The staff are friendly from the front desk clerks to the staff in the dining area where you eat, the cleaning crew, and even the electrician are all very friendly eager to help. This is the first choice hotel I’ve stayed in as a diamond member and I’ve been a Choice member for years and as a diamond member I’ve never received a welcome packet of goodies in a treat bag for being a member a diamond member that is. I was so taken back I felt so valued. I truly appreciate the experience that I’ve had here each time that I come from the swimming pool to the food to the hospitality to the cleanness of the hotel you won’t be disappointed!!!

When I first called Rica did a wonderful job assistant me when I got there she accommodated me very well and was very nice no friendly the rooms are big the pool es awesome breakfast was amazing I def will come back and also recommend others try it as well

Great! I was a little hesitant to book this because of reviews mentioning renovations going on, but there were no issues with that. The indoor pool was open, and the lobby, our room, and the breakfast area were all renovated. I'm attaching a picture of the new breakfast area (it includes a good selection of things, including hot foods and waffles) since I didn't see a picture of it on any website or review. We had an issue where one day housekeeping didn't clean our room and just took our dirty towels without leaving clean ones, so we had to ask for towels. But other than that, it was a good stay. Indoor pool, nice breakfast included, within walking distance of the metro to get into DC, affordable, and pretty nice = great fit for us.

The Front Desk/ Concierge (Rica)is very pleasant and friendly. Hotel is very peaceful!

Great Front Desk service from the young man with dreads he Excellent hospitality the hotel overall is Great inside would not expect that from what you see from the outside great for family’s here nice pool. The breakfast bar is cool but needs Turkey Bacon for us Muslims or folks who just don’t eat Bacon but this hotel is Great all the stuff has great attitude an hospitality.💯💯

We stayed in the newly renovated part of the hotel. They were updating the carpet in other parts of the hotel but it not impact our stay. The rooms were nice and clean, as well as the lobby and common areas and the continental breakfast offered a good spread. We were greet and treated by friendly staff. I would suggest they warm up the pool a bit, and put black out shades in the rooms. Overall very happy with this stay.

We had a great experience- spent 3 days- everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Metro was 5-7 min away( depending on how tired or fast you walk)
All staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was great and the 2 ladies each morning were helpful. Desk receptionists, Thomas and Pentu, always has smiles and helpful info.
Renovation going on and never hindered our coming and goings.
Cold water and coffee always available.
Grandkids enjoyed the pool🥰

This hotel is worth the money. The breakfast is ok but better than normal places. Has good orange juice and has a sweet lady that keeps everything up and clean. Bed was comfortable and my room was clean.
