I was visiting Upper Marlboro, MD with a few friends and we decided to meet here for lunch. The atmosphere was great, the music had us singing together lol. We had the Power Crab Dip with tortilla chips as a starter, it was EXCELLENT and the chips were perfect, light with a delicate crispiness. Two of us ordered the Pecan Crusted Trout, also very good. We asked for the Peach Cobbler for dessert( we had to ask for the menu after our meal, as it wasn't offered) and the server later returned to advise they were all out. They had some big event the day before. Several minutes later, the server brought a serving of Peach Cobbler to the table saying they happened upon one. Peach Cobbler is not a dessert that you reheat as it gets soggy and that appears to have happened to our shared serving. I am sure it was probably pretty good the day BEFORE however, we did appreciate the effort ?. We would dine here again if in the area.

Let me tell you about the brunch that was never had. Me and my family of 3 came in for brunch 8/18 at 11:15am. We were greeted when we walked in and was told it was going to be a wait but a table came available a little sooner. We sat down and waited…waited…waited…still waited. Servers walked past us repeatedly without saying a word. Me and my family were baffled at why nobody spoke to us. Waited, waited, waited and still no service. By this time it’s 12:03pm without service, food, not even a glass of water! Unfortunately by then, my 6year old and husband decided to leave but fortunately for us, we were able to go somewhere else where we felt seen, welcomed and worth at least a single word of appreciation for us dining with them. This was a horrible experience for the brunch that was never had. Just poor.

The food was delicious ? ?!! However, I do think the ambiance would be better if the place was not so dark inside during daylight hours. Some light paint and new flooring would help.

Okay. I am just leaving OTI and the food was horrible. I had the crab dip with chips. The crab dip has something on top that looked like tuna, I guess that was crab meat, and the chips were stale. My bartender was Keith who made me a Hennessy sidecar but put so much juice in it because he did not know how to measure for the cocktail that I drank mostly juice. He never came over and asked me how my food was or nothing. I was even more disappointed because the owner was there and while the other bartender was on his phone and the other young lady with dreads was just standing around, the bar needed to be cleaned, and the customers needed to be checked on. Then the couple next to me at the bar waited over an hour for catfish. This was a whole mess. I try to support black businesses and I tip we'll, but this establishment has been going down for some time, and they need a new Chef, and a nicer and cleaner restaurant.

My friend and I went to OTI for dinner. We were seated promptly. Our server/bartender came for our drink order. I asked if they had Rose, server wasn't sure and would check. Server brought me a glass of wine, which wasn't Rose (turned out to be Moscato) I brought it to the attention of the server, who replied that it was. I questioned her, she insisted that it was Rose. I didn't pursue the issue. Food was good, just wished server had been up front about the wine.

So we love this place. Great food, service, and drinks. Recently added a spicy bloody mary with homemade mix. A-mazing. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve tasted plenty items on the OTI menu and everything has been well prepared and delicious. The customer service has also been excellent from all staff members but I must give a shout out to Missy! Her ability to communicate and provide professional service will definitely encourage many to return. Missy makes you feel as if you have known her for many years. OTI is a hidden gem that I will share with many because the experience is worth it.

Upon entering the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell in the restaurant. The service was good and the food was very good. It’s unfortunate that I’ve noted on several visits that the restaurant needs a thorough cleaning. The floors and windows are filthy and the restrooms need cleaning. A great atmosphere and conveniently located.

Almost as warm inside as outside. The food usually makes up for the slow service. My fish was drlicious. At the end of our meal, we were told that we could keep our glasses, but our table was being cleared for a private event. In other words, it was time for us to go as she proceeded to sweep around us. Good thing we were basically done. Wow!! The male manager is very accommodating and tries.....
