I stop here occasionally on my way to work to pick up coffee and breakfast. Generally, drive thru. Always great customer service. Very little wait time. Clean inside and out. Great location. Thank you.

This morning I placed a mobile order and arrived shortly after to pick it up. A barista greeted me at the window and handed me my egg bites, and stated “Next time, please give us a 3 to 5 minute grace period.” That felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand mornings can be busy, but the comment came off as dismissive. A more courteous response would have gone a long way. “Thanks for coming in! We’re just putting the finishing touches on your drink—it’ll be ready shortly!”

I usually enjoy stopping by Starbucks for a coffee and a moment to relax, but my recent visit to this location was disappointing. While I understand and respect that Starbucks is a welcoming space for everyone, the store felt more like a waiting room than a café.

Several individuals appeared to be loitering for long periods without purchasing anything, and one man was repeatedly coughing without covering his mouth, which made the environment uncomfortable and unsanitary especially when many customers are still cautious about health and hygiene.

The staff were polite but didn’t seem to be enforcing any basic standards for guest behavior. I don’t expect perfection, but it’s important that all customers paying or not respect shared public space. I hope management considers better ways to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for everyone.

The staff and service are excellent!!!! I am always happily greeted by Ian and my coffee/breakfast (though mobile order) is always ready to go. I truly appreciate starting my day at the Upper Marlboro Starbucks.....keep up the good work!!!

29 minutes for one mobile-ordered drink? This literally has to be the slowest, most backed-up Starbucks in the world. The staff definitely hustles, to their credit, and the 29-minute time estimate on the app was accurate. But there should be an easier way to cancel an order on the app.

Shoutout to what is hands down my favorite Starbucks. I have been to stores all over the world and despite always being busy, the store is somehow always immaculately clean, with staff always happy to help. The store is super accessible, and I absolutely love the covered outdoor lounge area! I was initially thrown off by the fact that they don't have a pastry display case, but I can still get all my favorite treats there. My favorite part about the store is definitely the staff. Top notch team absolutely crushing it every single day!

The food, once we finally received it, was really good. Sadly, this was our worst customer service experience ever at a Starbucks. On the busiest day, leadership must position employees to facilitate the process for everyone! It matters at all levels.

I am currently trying to catch up on my studies for the week for my college courses that I am severely stressed out about. But coming into this Starbucks is a breath of fresh air.

I got myself a tea that I am sure is complicated, but the Manager Ian was an absolute pleasure to speak with, even though it was busy he made my tea, spoke with me and made me feel welcome. And when he got busier, another barista named Karla kept me company even while they were also busy. I have more confidence to finish up my studies now and ready to take on the rest of my classes.

Do yourself a favor and come to this Starbucks, get yourself some caffeine, and enjoy some time with these wonderful people here.
