My favorite local soul food spot. The staff is always so welcoming and inviting. It is a small pickup spot but the food is always amazing. My favorite items are the jumbo lump crab cakes, fried whiting, bang bang shrimp, and bang bang seafood fries. You can't leave without dessert (please bring back the honey bun rum cake!!) and a flavored lemonade. My goal is to try all the flavors lol They've come so far from the food truck and the quality has still been the same!

I enjoyed every bit of my food! I ordered the stuffed salmon, mac, sweet potato, greens, pasta salad and peach cobbler. They were all hitting! I told everyone I knew to check them out.On my second and third visits, after a wonder initial experience, the mac and cheese was greasy and gritty. Almost as if it was frozen.I did enjoy the salmon bites and green beans tho. And the peach cobbler is still hitting ?With every mom and pop restaurant, it's like family cooking in the kitchen. We can't be perfect all the time. I'll be back again.Still 5 stars.
I had a taste for some soul food & decided to come to VIBES. I was very happy I did. I got the broiled crab cakes, shrimp, collard greens & Mac & cheese. My food was excellent, the service wasn't too long & I will definitely be going back.

My honest opinion is that the macaroni and cheese was terrible. The broiled crab cake is better than the fried. The fried crab cake is too salty. It seems that they over season some of the food items. The food has a good taste just too salty.

As a first-timer, this visit definitely won't be my last! The henny wings were soooo yummy... some of the best I ever had. I also tried the hot honey. They were decent, but not better than the henny. My next favorite was the brown butter carmel banana pudding...omg now this is how you satisfy a sweet tooth!! The macaroni and cheese had a thick consistency vs. creamy, but not dry. The yams were smooth, without sweet potato pieces... I would have loved that, but it was still good. Lastly, the lump crab cake and fried shrimp were delicious. Overall, nice portions and the food was flavorful and cooked perfectly! Great customer service, but the wait time was a bit lengthy after indicating being ready.

I had their food several times in the past before they got the store location. I went to the store for the 1st time and I had an issue with my food. I called the store as soon as I got home and spoke with the supervisor on duty. I was just calling to let them know the issue so they can be aware and not let it happen to another customer. The supervisor asked me for pictures of my order and called me back to apologize. I wasn’t expecting anything from them. I was asked to bring the food back and let them make me something else but I told her I would just take the loss since I wasn’t willing to drive back out there. But the supervisor told me she would give me a credit for my next visit. She handled everything very professionally. And I will be going back to support their business. We have issues at a lot of establishments but go back and spend our money so I will be going back to spend my money and support their establishment. Thank you for handling my concern very professionally and being nice.

My family and I just tried this soul food carryout. It's clean, customer service was great, and the prices were decent. I got wings, mac, and cabbage. Hubby got pork chops, mac and yams. Baby girl got salmon, mac and yams. The food was served piping hot. Our meal was perfect...except for the mac. The mac is not mac-ing. It looks amazing, good texture/consistency, but there's a flavor that wasn't agreeable to us. Not sure why but it tasted vegan to us. Vegan cheese maybe? Our oldest daughter loves vegan food and she loved the mac. She ate it all. So, some people will love it and others won't. Biggest Pro: everything but the mac, especially get the flavored lemonade. Cool flavors list (Dreamsicle was one). The pineapple lemonade was AWESOME. Biggest Con(s): the mac and the wait time for your food; call ahead instead.

Another establishment failure. Order ahead, still LONGGGGG wait to pick up. Very disappointed on Valentine's Day. They WEREN'T prepared. Disappointing, not going back.
Being from the South my relocation to Maryland had left a small void in my stomach. I have visited other “soul food” restaurants and they have been decent, but tonight that all changed as Vibes came through with all the smoke!!! I had Salmon bites, catfish nuggets, and meatballs with gravy. Mac N cheese, greens, cabbage and the bbq baked beans (yes I’m fat as hell, but no I didn’t eat this all by myself) and for dessert I got the peach and apple cobbler and banana pudding. Fam, I haven’t been so satisfied since leaving Texas until tonight. I literally felt like I was back home. The space is super clean, food displays were top notch and rearranged after an item was removed. The staff were all the most polite and accommodating!!! If you need some down home cooking here, THIS IS THE SPOT!!!
