Worst experience on 10/31/2024 ~8pm - I tried to place an order by phone for pick up/carry out after waiting about 3 minutes to get someone on the line. The woman who picked up to take my order was rude, impatient and had an overall very nasty attitude. We had people over and loud background noise and she assumed someone said something to/or about her and she made some rude remarks. Completely unprofessional and nasty. I’d been ordering from this location a couple times per month for years via app delivery so I had no idea they would employ someone like that. I would not recommend and will not be returning to this location due to staff. In fact I’ll be going to Dominos around the corner.

This is the worst service I have ever received from ANY pizza place. These guys fail to make a pizza as per the order. One in every 4-5 orders gets messed up. They don’t have basic decency of apologizing for their mistake. Very poor customer service.Regret ordering here.

The food tastes fine but these people are incapable of cooking it how I ask. I’ve requested them cook it overdone so the pizza isn’t all floppy on multiple occasions but they never cook it enough and I always end up with a limp pizza

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEY by coming to this store. The manager is so rude and incompetent. We placed an order and the app said it was ready. When we came to pick up the pizza, at first the manager said they just put it in the oven even though it said it was ready. Then he changed his word and said they must have missed the order and need to make the pizza. He didn’t even say sorry. He was very rude and the way he talked was very unprofessional. When I told him it is ok to make mistakes but he should apologize for his actions, he said the pizza is in the oven and they are working on the order. He still didn’t apologize. We asked for refund and came out. WE will NEVER GO TO THiS STORE. Papa johns needs to hire better people.

HORRIBLE. I waited over 20 minutes for my order… it wasn’t even a busy day..a weekday during the evening. When i got my order they slopped it together lazily. It tasted absolutely nasty and it fell apart when i picked it up. Horrible don’t even waste your time here.

The pickup area was packed with unhappy customers and Door Dashers. People complaining they had been waiting over an hour and no managers were around to refund orders. The kitchen was a disaster. No one could take pizzas out of the oven because there were no boxes folded and pizza ended up over-baked or dropping on the floor. A driver was outside sobbing and absolutely no one was in command. I felt terrible for the employees having to deal with frustrated customers and absent leadership. Shamefully mismanaged.

I watched one of my pizzas sit in the oven for an extra 10 minutes - it was burnt. The other pizza was over sauced and had too much cheese and was raw in the middle. Not good guys.

Quick delicious but they forgot to cut the pizza. No biggie for us since we have a pizza cutter! The place looked clean and had one guy working but it was pretty slow and our pizza was ready when we picked up.

I place an order for a Large cheese pizza. 1. The pizza was not sliced. Which was ok.
But most of all I saw a few advertisements for a large Pizza for $10.99. I ordered a large Pizza. I confirm I would be paying $10.99. Today as I was reviewing my bank account I noticed I was charged $30. I call to speak with the manager to asked why I was charged an incorrect amount. I gave the manager all my details from the time I place the order by calling the Urbana store. The time I call to verify the status of my order. I told the manager how much I was charged the manager for the Urbana location was extremely rude. Insisted that he has no record that I ever called in to order a pizza. Even though I gave him all my details. He told me he has no record of me ever placing any order. He was so rude he hung up on me.
How can someone be a manager representing Pappa John Pizza. With no customer Service. Who treats customers with no respect. Then hang up the phone on me when I gave him all details of me placing an order and was over charged $15. That's very unfair. Do not purchase Pizza from the Urbana store. The manager is very rude. That's the reason so many businesses closes its because of managers like this manager at the Urbana store location. Without customers there will be no Pappa Johns Pizza at Urbana.

Moved to Florida and came to visit family in Frederick. I always come get pizza from PJs. Norman is always friendly.

The people are very nice at this store and the pizza is always good. My one big complaint is with their delivery area. New Market is 12-15 minutes from the store and they will not deliver.

Staff was friendly.Pizza top tastes good.But for google live to say the location is slow..I get there and it is slow..And I did not order well done..I get a crust that looks like this? This does not taste good.*Add on that I added a tip to my carryout order, just makes me wonder why do I bother. Disappointed.

I don’t know what happened to this papa johns,it used to be good. Called to order the pizza and was told it would take 30 minutes. That was ok with me because they had always been very busy in the past and I was prepared for that. But after arriving, I waited another half hour for a hot but not so good pie. There’s were two people working there but only one was making pizzas.
