Ordered Shrimp Basket and Chicken Tenders. In both orders the food tasted like old oil. Having worked in restaurants before, if the oil isn't maintained and changed frequently there is a horrible taste to it. So food and french fries had odd taste. The fries are store bought frozen and not like the normal fries. The shrimp were not the same as previous times, just poor quality now. The staff gave me tarter sauce instead of cocktail sauce and there was no Smoked BBQ for the chicken tenders which was on the order. The order number was Order # 22031110731022336 so you can check. I have always given a tip for food but this time I was totally ripped off, there won't be a next time. This is poor management, laziness and lake of process. You may say why didn't I bring it back or call. Given that didn't know this until I was sitting down to dinner, it wasn't worth the wasted breath. Even if they remade the order and I picked up it would have been cooked in the same awful oil. I will not be returning and I hope others do not as well.

Got here at 5:30 pm ordered our food and drinks at 545. Drinks came out at 615. Food didnt come out till 720. When we asked the waitress fir some chips she said if course and didn't bring them out. We asked 3 time for chips and didn't get chips until 15 mins before the food came out. We asked the waitress what is taking so long with the food. She said that the kitchen staff are tired from the 1:00 game orders. Worst service ever. When the food finally came I asked for more rockfish sause and I got hat 10 mins after asking. The sad thing was the place was nearly empty.

Service is a huge 0. It started when we came in, the guy that sat us did so with the attitude thst we were bothering him from sitting down. We were placed at the furthest table in the corner of the restaurant with no menus. After about 10 minutes of no server or acknowledgement I walked up to the front and interrupted the host and another guy watching something on a phone with no immediate acknowledgement and confusion as to who our server was supposed to be. Natalie finally came and took our drink orders a ginger ale and water. After another 10 minutes of not getting our drinks we went to the front since we were not going to stay. We asked for a manager after several minutes someone who said they "were the manager" tonight because the other person was not there. She apologized, but it was to late. I did mention to the host, he really shouldn't be his phone while working as it wasn't a good look for customer service. he just smirked and we left. This is not the first time with service issues at this location. We won't be back and a call to the corporate office in Columbia will happen first thing in the morning!

This place is absutely depressing. Everytime I've ever walked in here there has been no one waiting and nobody there to greet me or sit us at a table. Today we are the only table and the two servers sit around and play on their phones while we are waiting on drinks and there's a completely open table covered in dishes from the previous party. The server is inattentive and on his phone on the other side of the store. The food comes out and it's greasy and poor quality. This place needs new management or needs to be replaced because at this point it is not contributing to the neighborhood. I will not be back and don't want to go back.

It was not busy when we arrived on a Saturday evening. Bar and barstool were dirty upon arrival and we had to ask for them to be wiped down twice. Patty melt was served with no cheese and when we made mention of this they brought out slices of cold cheese-kinda missed the point of “melt”. No offer was made to discount the bill. Bartenders and servers seemed to be confused overall. It was a shame to have a bad experience at the Turtle. We used to very much enjoy the Leesburg, VA location and the one near Deep Creek Lake. Will not return.

Amara and Alex are excellent at making a welcoming environment. Bradley is an amazing host. And the management is exceptional. The servers are great and the food is bomb ?

Terrible service. I NEVER leave reviews. And I am so nice and easy going when it comes to servers at restaurants. But man my waitress tonight made me so angry. I was out with my family for trivia night, and our waitress comes up to us, while there is still at least an hour left of trivia, and tells us she is cut, and wants to leave ASAP. She proceeds to ask aggressively if anyone else is ordering anything so she can bring us the check, she then rushed us to pay, and didn’t offer us a different server to transfer to, didn’t clean off the table, didn’t offer dessert or anything. Before she rushed off I had to ask twice for refills for two people at the table because she forgot. We were left on our own for at least an hour while trivia continued, and no one else came to check on us. I did not see a manager the entire night; there was no one to even give feedback to, or ask for help. She was the rudest, most blunt and careless server I’ve ever encountered, and I used to waitress, bartend and manager a sports bar and restaurant myself. I don’t ever want to come back.

Good food.. have had worse, have had better. Ordered cauliflower bites, fish bites and order of tots. Cauliflower could’ve been hotter but they were good.. choose your wing sauce to put on them. Fish bites were made to order. With a sweet tea and water, total bill was $30.28.
