A group of friends and I arrived at 6:30 on May 6th the bartender said that they were out of Rum, we asked for a mint julep and were told he was out of mint. He said he only had vodka and gin and could only make drinks with that in it. So why do you advertise hours for 2-10 but you don’t have rum? Why have a bartender and he does not have the supplies to make drinks and then there is no rum. It’s a rum distillery. A completely disappointing non -existent experience.

Such a hike to get here, but totally worth it!!! I went with friends on St. Paddy's Day of all days. Despite being a Friday, I suspect this is why it was empty when we got there -- everyone was busy with Irish pubs and such haha. The place feels like it's in the middle of nowhere -- I love these random finds! As we approached, there were two awesome looking food trucks outside (I'll get more into those later). And the inside was kind of small, but some benches, high tables and a bar. There wasn't seating for a lot of people, but we later found out there's also seating upstairs -- nice! They were doing some cleaning up, so some areas were closed off, but I could see some shelves of board games. Nothing like eating, drinking and playing board games right??So we got settled and did the tasting... the guy taking care of us awesome and knowledgeable. And he kept those hefty pours coming rather fast lol!! We had to ask him to slow down.... we had to get food! So both trucks had tacos, but County Manners had haddock tacos, brisket tacos, sweet chili shrimp tacos, and similar flavors of sliders. The other truck would bring stuff to you inside, but we got a buzzer and had to go back out to pick up from this one. That was some delicious stuff, whew! Great flavors all around, and a pretty decent price! They also had nachos and baskets. But back to the tasting... while we got to try 6 different ones, they didn't have all of the spirits they advertise. It's like they cycle, which is fine! We got to try 1 vodka, 1 rum, 2 gins and 2 whiskeys. I particularly enjoyed one of the gins and whiskeys, but I can't quite remember which. After a while, we got to meet Ryan, the owner, and he gave us an awesome and educational tour! Then we came back and had some cocktails and called it a night. It's a hike from my house, but this distillery is totally worth the visit -- heck, even just for the food. I saw a bunch of DoorDash drivers coming just to pick up orders from the trucks haha.

Marquis was an amazing mixologist. The cocktails were great! The food was flavorful. The owner is down to earth and he checked on us and made sure we enjoyed our food. Great atmosphere! I will come back!

My second time at BDD and I love it. The set up inside is so quaint and cozy and the bartender Anthony is very personable and funny. They have a food truck outside (Chuckwagon) that sells bomb wings and loaded fries as well. I had the classic buffalo and my brother had the Mumbo and honey old bay wings, both were great. Last time I came I had the wings and crab fries and they were bomb as well. The fries were not soggy and the crab wasn't drowned with sauce which is always preferred. I knew to recommend the fries to my brother since I'd been here before. He also ordered some surf and turf tacos so I'll have to ask him how those were when he makes it home. I had the lemon drop and a mule to drink, which were recommended by Anthony. The mule had a spice to it from the ginger beer which I enjoyed but I prefer the lemon drop. My brother had a julep (without the mint) and enjoyed that as well. I'll def be back as it's right around the corner and the perfect spot to catch a game and some bar eats.

Great small local business. Interesting backstory on 2 counts: 1) owner's family has historical ties to distilling, 2) small biz-underdog issues that are created by entrenched county & state businesses who try to suppress the smallest threat to their empires. For the first, read the web site; for the latter, visit, schedule a tasting, chat with the owner/distiller, enjoy the products. However, for most folks, the interest here is the craft distillery and "scratch bar" experience. ALL the alcohol is made by the distillery. Lots of innovation, some resulting from the afore-mentioned points, the results in some great grain alcohols (whiskey, rye, vodka,bourbon-style,rum, 2 gins, @bd some you wouldn't necessarily expect - sweet & dry vermouth, flavored liqueurs for the handcrafted cocktails, etc. The drinks are good or great, the young staff put a lot of energy and enthusiasm into their work. The vibe is relaxed and industrial-rustic, couple, family, and group friendly. There is very good and creative food available from food trucks just outside. They even manage a credible Sunday brunch - crab cake Benedict & shrimp and grits were stellar. Definitely adding to our revisit list!

It's a small quiet friendly environment, just right! The 6 sample spirits featured on Groupon was great, the staff was friendly and authentic and the tour was very fun and informative.

I really enjoy the quality of the drinks they make. They have a wide variety to pick from and all if the drinks are delicious. It's a really chill nice vibe place. I love the ambiance. One of my favorite spots in waldorf. The have two food trucks right outside service is quick and food is delicious.

The drinks were good. However, food choices were very limited. I would suggest you eat before you go. My wife and I are planning to go back for brunch because the way it was explained to us its done differently.

Popped in for the first time with a party of 4 on Sat. I love the atmosphere. It has a fun swank vibe, bar style seating below and lounge lofts above. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks though - I was unimpressed! I ordered a vodka passion fruit cocktail. It was pretty to look at with the dried orange, but it just wasn't good. Vodka taste was over powering, I didn't get any hints of passion fruit nor effervescence from the soda and it was THIRTEEN DOLLARS. That's city prices and for that I expect city quality. My hubs got a rum based cocktail and felt the same way.

The drinks are, at best, decent. But godspeed to you if you are trying to order one. I think, across all my visits to Bluedyer, a server visited our table an average of once every thirty minutes (including a half hour waiting before even the first drink). That may be too generous, honestly. It feels as if Bluedyer has a tap room only begrudgingly.

Delicious, unique drinks. Great staff and atmosphere. Food trucks outside are always amazing

small and cozy i guess? Liquor tastes great but I wish the price is more friendly. $12 for most of the cocktails and $14 for whiskey cocktails. Plus tax and tips, oh boy $33 for 2 drinks...
