I have been saying this time will be the last time going to this cold stone for about a year now. But today is definitely the last day. The ice cream is always melted. Always. The ratios are also off for orders. I get more melted ice cream and 1/5 of mix ins. I will be making that trip to another cold stone moving forward. This one used to be good.

This is absolutely the worst cold stone ever. They literally never have anything in the store. The fridge section is always empty the flavors are always out and the staff are always unenthusiastic. Now, I’m realistic, I don’t expect you to jump up and down with joy when a customer walks in. I work in customer service so I completely understand but DANG. At the very least act like you care about having a job. And even if you don’t want to do that AT LEAST HAVE SOME PRODUCT. Horrible le experience every time. Thank God La Plata has a cold stone.

I went here two times now. Their founder's favorite signature creation is the best. After the first time I tasted it, I've been craving for it. There are a lot of people still buying ice cream despite it's currently winter. I tipped the guy patiently and singlehandedly taking orders. Will come again to try the other ice cream

Brunette working Wednesday evenings clearly has attitude problems- girl gave me 2 reeses cups, gave everyone else 3 of their toppings- but me- 2 reeses cups, I asked for a third one, (asked nicely) (have been nice throughout our entire encounter)- come to find out, this chick charged me for an extra set of toppings....... IF YOU WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR EXTRA TOPPINGS, YOU HAVE SOME NERVE ONLY GIVING ME ONE EXTRA REESES CUP- IN THAT CASE, YOU SHOULD'VE GIVEN AT LEAST 2. Lucky today was already a horrible day for me. Rue the day fr... and to note, neither of the employees working were welcoming enough to greet anyone that came into the establishment... rude!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this ice cream shop for years, but after my experience tonight, I’m really disappointed. I went in at 9 PM, and the first thing that struck me was how poorly the ice cream had been stored—it was already melting when I got it. The texture was off, and it was more of a slushy mess than the creamy treat I’m used to. To make matters worse, the service was just terrible. The employee was on her phone the entire time, barely acknowledging me as I asked for extra Heath bar in my ice cream. I understand extra toppings cost more, and I was happy to pay, but she seemed irritated and made it clear that it was a hassle for her to add it. When I asked her to mix it in, it was done half-heartedly—barely mixed, and I could barely taste the Heath bar. It’s really sad to see this place, which used to be one of my favorites, fall so far in terms of customer service. The ice cream quality wasn’t up to par, and the attitude I received was disappointing. I get that everyone has off days, but I won’t be coming back until I see some improvement. I hope management takes notice of the dip in service and does something to fix it. This used to be a special place, but now it just feels like a letdown. I’ll be looking for new spots in the meantime.

Very Rude employee Making the orders with wrong/missing ingredients Ringing up orders incorrectly and giving the customers attitude for their mistakes. Overall the employees seem unhappy to be there. They are turning off your customers. Worst experience I have ever had here.

I visited your store location today, Waldorf Maryland, August 14, 2025, between the hours of 1:30 - 2:00. I purchased a Gotta Have cup of ice cream and went straight home and after I opened up ready to eat it was a very long string of hair on top of my ice cream. I only saw one person working the floor. She was very nice, but males or females with long hair should wear hair nets. Thank you.
On top of this location never really having supply, I recently visited and walked out. The guys who were making ice cream was also handling the money. THEY DID NOT WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER HANDLING MONEY AND PROCEEDED TO MAKE THE NEXT ORDER. They also did not have their hair put up in either a hair band or something covering it. They did not have on gloves. And they smelled like weed!

Visited with my kids. Laihla S. Waited on us. Her service was average at best so no complaints for her. However, they only had 5 flavors available which I did not understand why store was even open. The kid cone was stale. I ordered for 4 people so about $30. The prices for Cold Stone are too high for limited selections and stale cones. Probably will not be back.

The store was very clean and the staff were pleasant. My concern is that it smelled of strong chemicals and soon as I walked in. And the waffle cones were being made but they are left out basically on a shelf which allows dust, smells and chemicals to leach into them when sitting. I think changing your cleaning solution to something more natural or less odorless would be better and have a closed contained shelf for the waffle cones would be appreciated. My cone had the taste of the chemical in it. As a result, I will not be returning until this is resolved.
