The store was very clean and the staff were pleasant. My concern is that it smelled of strong chemicals and soon as I walked in. And the waffle cones were being made but they are left out basically on a shelf which allows dust, smells and chemicals to leach into them when sitting. I think changing your cleaning solution to something more natural or less odorless would be better and have a closed contained shelf for the waffle cones would be appreciated. My cone had the taste of the chemical in it. As a result, I will not be returning until this is resolved.

This Cold Stone location has really fell off recently. It is clearly managed by teenagers, the cleanliness is sub par, the selection of ice cream is mid, the professionalism as long since left.

I love Coldstone but they seem to be having continuous shortages of available ingredients for their ice cream options. The last 3 times in a row, they were out of an ingredient for the Birthday Cake Remix. First it was no sprinkles, then it was no brownies, then it was no cake batter ice cream. This is becoming very disappointing and making me hesitant to go to this location in the future. I hope that this can be resolved. Perhaps the management needs to do better with checking their inventory during the ordering process.

Several people waited in line only to leave after being frustrated with the long wait. Horrible service and poor work environment for your employees.
Also, my husband came in a week prior to my visit today. They were all out of brownies and sweet cream ice cream. They also had delivery drivers demanding they cancel order on their end that they were not able to fulfill. Please be mindful of what’s requested most frequently, plan and staff accordingly.

Came in here the other day, saw nothing but actual disappointment. I feel like every coldstone location in Maryland has to be terrible. I went to the Ellicott Location a couple weeks ago and it was NOT good. It seems that this location is not any better. I went with my daughter and son because we were in the area. The workers clearly do not want to be there, management clearly not there. No help whatsoever with the line. Coldstone is terrible.

I swear this had to be the worst experience I’ve ever received at this location. My day was extraordinary until I walked into this ice cream place. I wasn’t in there a 10 seconds before the young lady said, “Do you know what you want? Because I could be doing other things.” I couldn’t believe it because I came in with a smile as I do when I walk into any room. She immediately knew from the look on my face how inappropriate and acutely belligerent she came off to me, because she started to insist that she wasn’t rushing me. I can’t tell!! The ice cream was great, but I gotta say… some people should never work in the customer service/retail field. I’ll be sure not to show up during top of noon to the early evening hours on a weekday. As a matter of fact, I’ll be sure to look for the very patient and nice middle aged lady (possibly a manager) before I walk in again. She has always been a pleasure. I’m from the school of where customer service was paramount. I see nowadays it probably isn’t. So sad.

I stopped by today specifically for the plant based options. Lines are always long. Staff is slow and doesn’t smile or communicate, as if we are doing them a disservice for wanting ice cream. Complete turn off.I asked the bitter young lady behind the counter what flavors were available today and she pointed to a contaminated container of plant based dark chocolate. It had trails of peanut butter ice cream and traces of milk based vanilla. She was annoyed when I asked if there was any available not contaminated, she suggested I wait for her to make others’ orders first before checking.I asked her to check and complete my order first and she quickly returned saying they were all out. She was rude in explaining their allergen protocols. I waited for my husband’s order and I walked out embarrassed at her treating my food based allergy like I was being unreasonable, especially since I was trying to order dairy free “ice cream” at an ice cream shop.When I was younger, Cold Stone Creamery was exciting for the entire family and quality customer service was a big deal. Needless to say, I went to MOM’s for some TLC and frozen vegan ice cream.Skip this location unless you have limitless time to burn standing in line like elementary school cafeteria line.
