Ok, 2nd stop by here was much better. No loud speaker blasting music at 6 pm on a Saturday night. We got seated right away all of the food was excellent. Definitely stop by and try them out. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while. The menu is a little different than the usal food. I was very surprised at how great this food was. We got seated right sway. The server was very nice and attentive. There is a good selection of different Mexican and seafood dishes here. For the appetizer, we got the shrimp and fries in sauce.They have a hot and cold appetizer menu here. I got the grilled fish and loved it. She got the pineapple dish with shrimp,octopus, and crab. It was fantastic. All the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. There is a large selection of hot sauces to choose from on the table. All that food at a great price. It's probably the best quality and quantity for food i have had in a long time. They have a beautiful bar that is well stocked with everything. The only downside was they had a super loud speaker blasting music inside. It makes it very hard to have conversion. No one was sitting by the speaker. It was a bit much at 6 pm on a Saturday night. That's the only complaint I can give here. 10 out of 10 stars on the food. 8 out of ten stars overall. Definitely go by here and try it. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely blown away by Costa Azul in Waldorf. This place is a hidden gem. One of those small local spots you might drive right past if you didn’t know better, but do yourself a favor and stop in. Easily some of the best seafood in the county.
We ordered the Torre De Mariscos a towering platter of fresh seafood that was amazing from top to bottom. But the real surprise was the Pasta Costa Azul. My girlfriend almost didn’t order it since it’s not an Italian place, but it ended up being one of the best pasta dishes we’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
I had the Coco Relleno, which came loaded with shrimp, scallops, octopus, and imitation crab in a creamy mushroom sauce, topped with melted cheese. It was incredible. something I’ll definitely be going back for.
If you’re in the area and love seafood, Costa Azul needs to be on your list. Great food, friendly service, and a seriously underrated spot in Waldorf.

Very authentic environment on a Friday night. The wait time was way better during the week, though. Food has been awesome every single time. We loved the chorizo dip, tacos, and any of their fried fish meals. The red snapper was so delicious and a huge portion size. The bathroom was clean, but again, they can't control who goes in there before you on a busy night. We'll definitely be going back, and they celebrate birthdays with a sombrero! Lol fun

Absolutely incredible find!! Was looking for a non-chain restaurant in Waldorf and stumbled upon this gem. Authentic Mexican seafood and wonderful drinks!! Complimentary chips come with salsa and ceviche which was delicious! Started with the fish taco for an appetizer and my only regret was not getting more than 1. For my entree I had the fried whole snapper dish recently at a Jean George’s restaurant in NYC and the one here was the best so this is beating 5 star NYC restaurants! Great portions, friendly service, and good atmosphere! Stop in!!

A fun experience! The food was absolutely amazing! I have never been to such a versatile Mexican seafood restaurant but it was great! The music was a little loud but the food totally made it worth it ❤️ We will definitely be back and spread the word!

I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and unfortunately, I was disappointed. The steak fajitas were bland and lacked any real flavor. The steak was chewy and hard to bite. It’s hard to mess up fajitas, but somehow, they managed. The guacamole was also a letdown — no seasoning or zest, just plain and tasteless. To top it off, the margarita was weak and had an artificial taste, which was a huge disappointment. For a Mexican restaurant, I expected a much better experience overall. I won’t be returning and do not recommend to anyone!
