We have enjoyed everything we have eaten from here. It definitely beats out some of the other soul food spots in the district. We had an event catered by them as well and everyone enjoyed everything. Not a single complaint. We didn’t have them make the max & cheese but I’ve had it and it’s great. I can’t wait to see how this place grows!

I saw this location on IG and decided to travel out to try the fish and chicken. It was delicious. But on my 2nd visit, prices went up and certain items weren’t available, 3rd visit, prices went up AGAIN and certain items weren’t available. I opted to wait for something else. Decided to order a drink with no ice and was told I’ll be charged extra for NO ICE. I’ve never heard of such idiocracy in my life! All my life I have room temp drinks but to charge me extra for not wanting ice! I immediately canceled and will never go back again and I tell ppl any chance I get. I can get good fish and chicken else where, that’s not as high and I’ll get more portions with better customer service.✌?✌?

2 crab cake platter, crab cakes were horrible. Not sure what they are using for filler, fish maybe. It was not all crab meat. Mac and cheese is always great. So disappointed I will make them myself.

First visit. Food was plentiful. Fish and chicken dinner with two sides was priced fine. However my collard greens had grit in the chew and the mac and cheese had topped cheese but none in the mac and cheese. My bread was oil soaked from absorbing the oil in my box and fried food on top. I am going to visit again because I believe in supporting the small business owners too. However twice is my limit in doing it this way again. Service was good

My first visit went great! This spot is a hidden gem and produces some GOOD FOOD! If you hear what I'm saying without me saying it, WE DON'T EAT ANYBODY'S MAC & CHEESE!! But this place had delicious Mac, well seasoned chicken, and the croaker was on point! Great service and friendly smiles which was missing for a year due to COVID! This place has DEFINITELY earned another visit! Make your way to this spot and get some good fish & chicken!

The cashier was professional and friendly. She greeted me with a smile. Since this was my first visit, she patiently explained the menu and made suggestions. The staff has excellent customer service skills. The cook asked me how I wanted my catfish cooked. The food was great. The hush puppies were hot and fresh. The catfish was cooked well and the coleslaw topped off the meal. The chicken and shrimp were also good. I will definitely visit again.

Very rude staff and very slow service. Felt very undervalued and unwanted as I stood waiting to be acknowledged from someone I had made eye contact with several times. Food isn’t good enough for the poor customer I received, won’t be returning and I don’t recommend you going.
