I ordered chicken wings & fish yesterday. I opened the box and ate the first item...( the fish). When I looked down to begin with the chicken wing, there was a bug. I took the box to the sink and emptied the wings and bug to kill it. I ultimately smashed the bug and took him to the watery grave (the toilet). I don't do bugs. Hip Hop chicken is history for me.....

Hi, I am a loyal customer to hip hop chicken at the location of 3659 Leonardtown Road in Waldorf Maryland. Yesterday, 12-31-25, I brought 50 pieces of chicken wings. When I got home, the chicken was overcooked. I was not able to bring the chicken back because I was already late and the store was beyond packed. I gave the manager a call about 30 minutes ago to let him know my frustrations and embarrassment to my guest at my home. He explained to me that it’s nothing he can do and that if I brought the chicken back then he would be able to make more chicken. While on the phone, I asked him, are you going to at least apologize, he told me no. I called once more to retrieve his name, he would not give me his name nor would he apologize. I shop at this location all the time and to experience this type of customer service is very disheartening. I will not be back to this location again. Thank you.

They are beyond rude and incompetent. They want to yell at you as if you're a child or just belittling you when they are wrong. They need to be shut down! As I sat in here for 45 mins when I placed my order over 30 mins ago. I have watched employees use their hands without gloves, dig up their noses, etc.

Visiting from Colorado originally from Oklahoma. One thing I’m always interested in is the great food I get when I come east. Decided to try this spot based on reviews. Ordered delivery through Uber Eats. Poor decision- Thoroughly thoroughly under impressed. The smallest wings I’ve ever received from a restaurant or even a grocery store for that matter. Wings were also dry, still had feathers and not sure what the white stuff is on the chicken but it’s unappealing. Is it flour?! If so… why?? Cooked in old grease. Fries are soft, bread is soggy and wet - sweated out. Coleslaw is gross. The flavor overall is just not good… only decent item was the catfish nuggets. Appeared to be fresh and cooked in fresh grease. All and all this will be our first and last time ordering from here.
