I’m giving Lefty’s four stars because of the food quality and taste. They now allow you to order online, but unfortunately they still fall short on timeliness. I was given a pick up time of 12:25, and when I arrived I was told it wouldn’t be ready until 12:49. The food is so good but the service is still lacking. I’ve previously given five stars but when I think about it, they really deserve four because of the lackluster customer service .With that said the food is delicious. The ribs are flavorful, greens and green beans are seasoned well. The Mac and cheese is too cheesy for my preference so I added more noodles and it was fine. The fried fish was very good and I’m not even a fan of whiting. The chicken was delicious and the bbq sauce was great. I’d order more frequently if they cared about timeliness of orders. Get it together Lefty’s. You do have competition.

I LOVE the ribs here. My issue is lack of communication. It's takes a serious adventure to reach a person. Today I ordered through DD and get my food cold. I live in the neighborhood behind it. 😒Coleslaw packed between hot items. Who does that? I'll order again I'm sure cause the ribs, fish, & greens are 🔥 but the service is lacking. Well service is good but communication methods are 💩. Come on Lefty get a proper phone system and enough staff to answer the phones. We love to speak to your lovely staff. ❤️

Very disappointed and the potato salad definitely taste like it store box bulk and try to be doctored up with too much mustard and too much sugar. Definitely won’t order it again.. I’ve been going to lefties for years decided to get the potato salad Believing it would have been home made. Do what they say you can’t eat everybody potato salad I’ll stick to my own.

I cannot find good fried fish in Maryland and I would definitely visit Lefty’s again when I have a fish craving. I don’t particularly care for whiting but I would eat this again! We enjoyed all of our food especially the cabbage. So yummy! My mom loved her pulled pork bbq! The coleslaw was on the sweet side but good. The Mac was super cheesy which I didn’t care for it was good. The tacos were good but I ordered spicy and there was nothing spicy about it. Same with the fried whiting platter. It wasn’t spicy although we ordered it. We will be revisiting! Oh and be prepared to wait a while for your order.

I'm not sure if it was an off day but my brisket seemed old and the baby back ribs were a little dry for just coming off the grill. Now the Boom Boom Shrimp were fried to perfection (got the sauce on the side) and the Mac & Cabbage were A1.

The AC system was broke and the greens had a lot of stalks in them and they short cut the Mac & cheese not Southern style get back to the old days

This place is always great. A real family run organization with great service great food and happy faces everywhere. This is by far our go-to place for ribs, chicken, and barbecue not to mention all the great sides.
