Lefty's Barbecue Unlimited

We placed a walk-in order for three at their Waldorf, Maryland location. We've been supporting this restaurant since the 90's. Lefty's was served at large scale community events back then and the food was amazing. I wish Mr. Lefty was still around, his restaurant wouldn't look this filthy. These workers do not take pride in his restaurant as he did. If they did, it would show. It's not a family-oriented all-hands-on-deck atmosphere anymore, just workers doing their specific jobs and collecting paychecks. The restaurant needs to be stripped to the bare bones, thoroughly cleaned and renovated. They need to hire REAL grill master chefs instead of regular cooks. I sat where I could see straight into the back prep area, they're all confused back there. I'm surprised that the Health Department still allows them to cook food in there based on the filth alone. If they don't clean the walls, ceilings, sticky tables etc., what else are they not cleaning? I don't think they're using fresh food either because the food and desserts was bland, dry and didn't taste fresh at all. We didn't stay and won't be back. Very disappointing.

Ordered online Thursday for my food to be picked up on Sunday. When I got there they couldn't find my order. The manager was called as asked how I placed the order. I said it was a catering order. She then asked for my order number and finally found it. I paid 40 dollars for this order and she then said. That's alot of food that you are going to get for the price you paid it must be a glitch with the computer. Was that my fault! Not only did I have to substitute my order for different items but she charged me 60 more for what I wanted and said she would give me the cornbread for free also they threw in a loaf of bread! I will never return to Leftys and will share my experience with others. Unhappy customer😡

Ribs and Chicken cooked to perfection! So smooth. A waiter with a great attitude really set the atmosphere

We just got take out for dinner tonight from Lefty’s and the food is amazing but for some reason tonight it was extra good! The baked beans, green beans and slaw were so good. The ribs and NC Bbq is always great! I had ordered a bottled barbecue sauce and I didn’t see it in the bag so I called not realizing that they had actually given us extra in the plastic container since they didn’t have any. No matter what they made sure we had extra. That is really good business and we appreciated it!!! Definitely will be going back soon!!!

The food was delicious. I ordered the North Carolina pulled pork with Mac & cheese and green beans. Can’t wait to take my family there.

The ribs are worth the wait! The food is the best barbecue in the area. Other entrees are great as well. If you look at the complaints it's usually about the time or the hours. So it's not the food!

Fantastic customer service from Christian. The food was amazing and delicious. I especially loved the garlic cabbage and sweet tea. Best BBQ in Waldorf!

I didn't do to much bbq but everything I had was delicious. BBQ chicken sandwich was packed, chicken bites was seasoned just right. You can get them tossed in any sauce they have.

Since Covid hadn’t eaten at Lefty’s in awhile. However, when celebrating a birthday we went back. Oh my with great satisfaction we enjoyed our meals. The ribs, chicken and sides were absolutely delicious!! We’ll be back real SOON!

This place is never open...ive been trying for over 2 months now....it must not be decent since there's no need to be open...
