I stopped here last weekend on a humble. I forgot about this spot because I don't really be in Waldorf anymore like I use to. I ordered the rib and chicken platter. I'm never disappointed. The ribs and chicken are bomb. The garlic cabbage is good and the macaroni and cheese was okay I wasn't disappointed. The potato salad is not good at all no season whatsoever just big potatoes and a bunch of sweetness. I will definitely leave the potato salad off next time. If you order the rib and chicken combo it will be enough meat to eat for 2 days. I ate the chicken the next day and made my own sides to go with it. I ordered extra sauce so when I reheated the chicken the next day by adding that sauce and threw it in the oven. It was the bomb.com. The bbq sauce is what makes the ribs and chicken taste good also along with the cooking.

The food was, of course, delicious!!! I am from North Carolina and I know what North Carolina barbecue is suppose to taste like. It's not enough to know to use vinegar, it's how much that makes the difference. This is it!!! Long Live Lefty'

The Food is EVERYTHING!!! And the Staff were Amazing!! Great Customer Service. Several staff asked if we were good and if our food was ok. We will definitely be back! We dined in, but also took food back for family and friends.Parking: Tight parking lot.
First time coming here and I was pleasantly surprised that the service was A-1 and the food was outstanding.Please keep up the good black owner service!

I was disappointed in what I paid for.... The brisket was more fat than meat not seasoned well enough the sauce kinda saved it but I don't think that's a good thang. Wasn't asked if I'd like anything on my sandwich either. Or the type or sauce on the side... it gave a more so carry out vibe. Staff was really nice. But for the price & lack of seasoning I would probably not to go back.

I have visited Lefty's several times and only had the fried fish, whiting plattter which is great in their signature batter. I just recently tried the baby back ribs with my dad and they were delicious, with the larger size collard greens and the sweet potato souffle. The greens were well seasoned, tasty, tender and not salty. The souffle was flavorful and not overly sweet. My dad liked the ribs and that's saying A LOT because he doesn't like just anybodies ribs, tender falling of the bone,with a great smokey flavor and not salty. For two people it was plenty of food. Definitely going to order again, God willing. We also ordered online and it was ready for pick up when we arrived.
The North Carolina pulled pork is out of this world DELICIOUS!!!

Go to mission bbq up the street and save time money and eating experience. Leftys was good years ago, now it's just there, bad expensive food with bad service, they went the way of johnny boys in DC from classy to trashy.
