We visited Ocean Blui Grill located in the food court of St. Charles mall. The customer service was great. We ordered the 2 meat platter, 2 patties (spinach & veggie), vegetable platter with chickpeas and salmon and shrimp Rasta pasta. Nothing appeared to be fresh, the food gave precooked or leftovers vibes. For the 2 meat platter we ordered curry and brown stew chicken. We were given curry goat and brown stew chicken. We called to make them aware and they were very accommodating. The patties were very doughy. The other food was edible, the rice and peas was mushy and clumped together, the chickpeas and plantains were mushy. The Rasta pasta the noodles seemed old and flat, the vegetables were frozen, the seafood was over cooked (seemed as if it was frozen too) and the sauce was scarce and oily.The cabbage was great! The store front was overall clean. The quality and price point didn't align.

I personally would have preferred roti not to be placed in plastic, more so placed in the microwave, which it appears it was, as it tasted dry.Rice tasted great. Roti, could have been thinner,was thick. I enjoyed lunch. Best curry goat I have had since being in America!????

This is one of the best Jamaican spots in the area. I highly recommend if you're looking for flavorful and fulfilling Jamaican food. They are located inside of the mall which isn't the best location, but isn't too terrible to get to right in the food court. For the price you pay you get a very nice size portion as you can see from my pictures. The service is always pleasant and there's always plenty of seating.

I used to love this place but they have been slowly declining. After visiting while holiday shopping, im definitely never going here again. The man in front of me walked off because no one acknowledged him, and I should have followed. They did at least give me a dry hi, but every bit of customer service or LACK of, was all down hill. $27 for ONE slopped together meal and drink to wait 14 mins with a rude unfriendly staff for my food. Never again

First of all I used to drive an hour out just to come here specifically for their curry goat with rice and beans, plantains and cabbage with a roti on the side. It's my weakness. The staff knows me as I now live closer and have become a regular. They are very professional and kind. There is plenty of seating for everyone and you can feel the Caribbean ambiance. I Thank them for this Gem in Waldorf.

Inside a mall is this little gem! Delicious jerk chicken, curried chickpeas, cabbage rice beans and sauce!
Tried this spot for the first time, and let me tell u it had me going back the next day. The Rasta Pasta with Salmon was delicious.. and the ox tails were bussin! This is my new go to spot when I’m craving carribean/Jamaican

I'm a bit perplexed as to how this establishment received favorable reviews, given that the Curry chicken I ordered was rather unpleasant. Moreover, the service provided was quite discourteous.

I had the jerk chicken with jollof rice and green beans, everything were very bland absolutely no seasoning and the jollof rice taste like really white rice with scotch bonnet pepper added.
