So I arrived at tgi Friday for dine in apparently they don't have enough servers. I was seated waiting at least 10 minutes before a server actually came to the table

Anthony R. Harris Jr,

I've been to Fridays in Waldorf before, prior experience, food is not good.

Present day, Christmas Eve, all of the good spots are closed or have a long wait so we decided to go to the bar. We sat down immediately as, unlike the other places, this one literally had 10-15 ppl max, including seven at the bar. The young lady who was the bartender, whom also bragged/joked about being the only one available to manage the restaurant, ignored us for almost 10 min as she flirted with and talked to three of the guys at the bar. When she finally finished, she casually walked over to us, slid menus to us without speaking, and walked off to, I guess, make drinks. We immediately stood up and walked out.

Upon arrival, the vibe was negative, the atmosphere was gloomy and less than festive considering the holiday. I smelled no food which is always a bad omen, and of course the bartender/manager whatever just confirmed to us that we didn't belong and weren't wanted. I generally avoid this place, and now I see why. Please do not go.

Usually they’re good, but that last two nights I’ve been there they’ve been very poor. Locking the door before they’re closed when it’s below freezing temperatures outside. And not preparing an order for an uber eats customer and saying they’re closed when I walked right through the front door. Not sure if there was a change in management but POOR

Very Disappointing Veterans Day Experience

I took my husband out to eat at TGI Fridays today in honor of Veterans Day, hoping to have a nice meal together with the kids. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

We were seated at a dirty table, and despite pointing it out, the staff showed very little urgency and I cleaned it myself. Communication between servers was poor, and customer service was almost nonexistent. I could tell the young lady helping us was new or very nervous. My children placed their orders first along with our appetizers, yet after sitting for more than 45 minutes, we had to flag down our waitress ourselves, only to find out that our food had been sitting in the back waiting.

When our meals finally came out, our daughter’s order was still missing, and the appetizers arrived at the same time as our entrées. We ordered them 20 mins apart. To make things worse, my youngest daughter never received her hot chocolate, which we had ordered nearly an hour earlier.

During our long wait, we watched one of the employees a young woman with long blonde and brown boho braids spending time with her children inside the restaurant. What made it worse was that her kids kept walking back into the employees-only kitchen area where staff pick up food orders. That is completely unsanitary and unacceptable for any dining establishment.

This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a special meal for my husband, who is a veteran. Poor service, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism throughout. We won’t be returning.

The African American waitress with stomach length blonde braids told me I couldn't get it to go box as a veteran. This was on veterans Day 2025. Please reach out to me if you'd like more details. I think at one point after I ask the bartender the female bartender with a wavy one be colored wig who's a little heavy set for a box I think I'm not sure but I think I saw her in the waitress laughing at me and she didn't give me a box because my waitress told her not to. It's kind of weird I don't know why they're so determined for me not to take my food home. I ate some of it there I was full. If there's a policy that you can't take the remainder of your food home on veterans Day at Friday's Please let me know but I saw her give a lot of other people a box. She even offered the table full of veterans next to me boxes. And then she had the audacity to lie to me and tell me they're not veterans. We had talked while we were waiting to come in and they all told me they were veterans I already knew they were veterans. I'm not stupid. Again because I want you to know who did all this extra stuff she didn't need to do she was an African American waitress with stomach length blonde braids single braids in her hair. She worked at around 1300 on veterans Day 2025. I do want to mention though the food was absolutely delicious. And everyone else is really nice I understand veterans Day is a little bit of a hard rush but everybody else is really nice. Also another thing she did that was kind of stupid was my waitress at some point This is before I was seated, she came up and asked who's next when there's a bunch of people sitting down and waiting. The person you guys had at the front the light skin African American female had a list and everyone gave their name on that list so for my waitress again the African American with a blonde hair to come up and ask who's next could have started a big conflict. We already had an established list. She needs to do her job and focus on being a good righteous and stay away from that area. People called her out on it and she stopped but she had no business doing that The African American girl the light skin one was handling it pretty well my waitress needed to mind her business. Again she was wearing all black with stomach length blonde single braids

The tables were tattered, service was terrible given how few people were there. My friend asked for a simple subscription and was denied even though she was happy to pay an upcharge for the difference.

It's been a long time since I've been to a Friday's. This is my first time at this location. I got the sampler which had cheese sticks included. Cheese sticks are my favorite but I could tell they didn't taste the same. I also got the half stack ribs with a Ceasar salad. The ribs were fine and the salad wasn't good. The Ceasars dressing was watery. My server was the best experience. He was attentive and tried his best to provide quality service. To the point that he had to make my drink because the bartender didn't.

Its been about a decade or two since ive been to a TGIFriday's so not really sure if I should be expecting much, and I dont know how much of the issues were franchise things vs specific location.

When we entered it was about 15 minutes before someone came to the front to seat us. There was a sign that said wait to be seated, but I still flagged the bartender about 5 mins in who rolled her eyes and walked away when I asked if we could sit, or needed to wait. (There were only about 3 patrons at the bar and then about five tables had people sitting at them (no more than 2 or 3 people at each table).

Our server was polite enough but only saw her three times during the visit (when she introduced herself and took drink orders, when she came back 20 minutes later to take our food orders, and then we I was able to flag her down about an hour into our meal to ask for the check).

The food quality was ok, but it was a hassle just to order what we wanted (even though all items were on the menu).

My daughter ordered the sliders, but we were then told they were unavailable. Then later on for desert, she ordered the 'cup of dirt' (chocolate pudding with crushed ore cookie, and gummy worms). But we were informed they stopped carrying that.

I had also tried to order a beer, but from the list of 15 or so, the server said they were out of all but 4 different domestic ones in cans. She said it was because they had an issue with their liquor license. (They had a semi stocked bar with people drinking liquor, so im not sure what the deal was with all of that).

When trying to order an appetizer Sampler, we were told we couldn't because they were out of one of the appetizers. And when I ordered a steak, we found out from someone in the kitchen who came out to tell us they didn't have that cut.

On top of everything with food and service, the place was dark, and just generally a depressing atmosphere. I dont know if this place is getting ready to close down, or just going through hard times financially or what; but I dont intend to ever return to it.
