Loved the Zaxby down south, the one in waldorf is not the same.
Ordered wings they were dry and hard. The sauce was cold. The South does not do bad chicken. Leave it to this location to ruin Zaxbys reputation up north. Terrible !

My rating could be expected since I went on 2nd day open. Wait of course was 1 hr plus. Ok I understand. But I got a Cobb salad after all that wait and the lettuce was old. Did not see that until I arrived home. I was not happy about that but I will return since the food my daughter got was good. Oh the lemonade is so good. Thank you. I will come again after the hype goes away.

Let me start by saying THIS IS A BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS! We have to support one another! The food is delicious & the customer service is outstanding. The wait is long because this is a new business and this is a hot commodity. Please be kind and please be patient!

Zaxby's, if you've never had it before, is a Southern cross between C-fil-A and any great comfort food restaurant đ. I feel like they've taken the best parts of other restaurants and put them all into one. The drive-thru line moved very quickly, even though it was long due to the large number of people who have had this delicious food before. After coming inside and looking over the menu, there is a large variety of food to choose from. I think the menu caters to comfort food with options for vegetarians, children, and hungry people. The staff was friendly and courteous; I liked the sound of them calling out your name when the order was ready. You could really hear how fast they were moving. The atmosphere there is family-oriented. They had a large variety of sauces, but clearly most people favored the Zaxby's sauce.
There is no other chicken finger place in the DMV area that can compare to Zaxby's chicken fingers.

Delicious! I canât lieâwait times are long right now, but it is grand opening week. Be patient with the staff; theyâre young, polite, and doing their best. The manager was great too.
My husband and I went on a Friday night (of all nights, lol). We ordered through the app at 1900, with a pickup time of 2009. We didnât get our food until about 2115. While we waited, we just chatted and observed.
A customer asked the manager what was taking so long, and he explained that they were making sure the oil was rightâheâd rather take longer than send out food that isnât top quality. I 100% agree. Because when we finally got home? That food HIT. I was like wow⊠I donât have to drive all the way to Richmond for Zaxbyâs anymore! I just hope they keep this quality up.
Be patient with this location and LISTEN FOR YOUR NAME. They called one lady 8-9 separate times before she heard themâand folks like that will write a bad review about âcold foodâ when they werenât paying attention.
Overall: love that this location opened. Food was delicious. Lines are long (donât really care, they'll die down eventually). And if youâre not a Waldorfian⊠beat it! đ

As ive driven to the South many times ive eaten at many southern establishments & Zaxbyâs is a fan favorite in my house, so were excited to try the new Waldorf location. Even though the lines were long, the customer service was good and we received our food in about an hour and thirty minute. We loved the food! đ
But Unfortunately, the tender sizes were pretty small, but everything was seasoned to perfection, and we still enjoyed it. Weâll definitely be back, but I recommendation is to order online because the line inside and the drive-thru were extremely long :/ đ€Ł

Sorry people!!! But I lived in Atlanta for years where Zaxbys is pretty common.This was the worst Zaxbys I've been too. Wings were extra small and flavorless. Don't understand the long line.

Yo this place is off the hook! I was hesitant to cause the reviews making the wait sound too long but to my surprise it was not too bad. I mean itâs grand opening and theyâre trying to figure out their groove. Give some grace people! I think the team was awesome and the owner was even making sure everyone was taken care of and meeting needs. Canât ask for more than that! Come on out and show some support and leave satisfied. Definitely making this my new spot. Thanks again and good luck!
