A wonderful experience at the farm. From seeing the animals in the petting zoo, to picking pumpkins and apples. We took a tractor pulled ride to the apple orchard. At the time there were ever crisp, pink lady and some yellow apple that I forgot the name of. Be careful when picking fruit though, the damaged and bad apples on the ground can cause you to slip and fall.

Picking pumpkins after Halloween was interesting. it was both a pumpkin smashing and pumpkin picking event. Because of this the pumpkin patch looked like a warzone. I was half expecting to see Jack the pumpkin king raging war against father winter. Pumpkins smashed everywhere, which made finding pumpkins to pick difficult. However with a little bit of exploration and time we found some.

The petting zoo was a delight. One the goats tried to escape. And the goats were running a play on people. They would let people in but not let people leave. They stood by the gate to try and tailgate or block people from leaving. If you had food they would follow you around. The wife was followed several times by a greedy goat.

During our downtime we explored the farm market and of course bought some apple cider. We also picked up some locally sourced honey. Next time we will have to get some jam or syrup.

Another thing to do is check out their warm treats section where you can get hot or slushy apple cider, apple cider or orange floats and warm apple cider donuts.

“We had a fantastic time at Baugher’s! It’s a perfect spot for a family outing, and my girls had an absolute blast. The apple-picking experience was wonderful—the apples were fresh and delicious, and it was so fun to walk through the orchard and pick our own. Beyond the apple fields, there’s so much to do! The petting zoo was a hit with the kids, and they loved the playground area too. We even had time to browse the farm market, which was full of fresh produce, baked goods, and treats.

The only drawback was the bag policy. They didn’t allow bags back into the apple fields, not even diaper bags, which made it a little challenging for families with young children. Despite that small inconvenience, it was an overall wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly day out in the fall!”

Baugher’s is an institution in Westminster but it’s allure extends beyond Carroll County. An incredible farm experience for adults and kids looking to pick apples and explore the grounds. If that wasn’t enough, the restaurant serves great comfort food and the pies and other merch can be purchased in the adjacent country store. A must stop for anyone driving down 140 day or night.

Came to the pumpkin farm to choose pumpkins from the field. So. Much. Fun. There's a photo op place as well as a huge slide on hay bales. Many wagons to haul your pumpkins to the hayride to get back to the market.

Playground with a free petting zoo. If I lived here, I would go once a week with my kids!

My family and I had a great time. It costed $16 entry which included a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. Where you picked out of ALL size ?. Pumpkins are around .59cents per lb to .69/lb. All different shapes , sizes and colors. (White, Orange/streaks of white and everything in between). They also have many different kinds of apple trees . Sunflowers to pick. There was a store with tons of FRESH food and our favorite Pumpkin roll! Which is the best I've had! Face painting and a pet farm where you can interact with all types of animals. Pigs, goats , rabbits , donkeys ducks and more. Plenty of parking . Just a great place to take the whole Family.

My family has been going to get apples and pumpkins for years but today I took my daughter who is in a wheelchair to pick apples and a pumpkins for the first time. To say Cindy and everyone went aboard beyond is an understatement!!! We always have a great time, but today was amazing! We will definitely see y'all in the spring!! Thank you ?

I just want to thank Baugher’s for giving a wondering experience, year after year, visit after visit! For the last 6 years, possibly longer, we’ve been going to Baughers for apple & pumpkin picking 1-2 times a year. Recently met friends at another farm and the experience made me reflect on just how grateful I am for Baughers!
