Went out their way for a special bday dinner Service was excellent as always. Will keep going back!

Food was amazing! We got both types of crab soup and could not believe how good they were. It was what I would expect from a fine dining restaurant on the water. The crab egg rolls were cooked perfectly. Crispy, spicy and sweet and absolutely delicious. We also ordered two salads, one with lump crab, as we were there for a lighter meal around lunch time. The salads were fresh and delicious and the quality of the plain crab was impressive. Totally unexpected dining experience and a very welcome surprise. The waitress was lovely and she shared the really cool history about the building. Definitely worth the drive and can’t wait to go back.

The food was great, but the portion sizes are very modest. $30 gets you two scallops and three shrimp. A side is asparagus five spears. Might want to add a little.

The Soup du jour was superb with flavor bouquets. Elk chop was totally OMG as the kitchen wizardy was amazing. Amazing people who care and excellent culinary excursion in Carroll County md Silver Run community. Bud's should be on your list of nice for this Christmas 🎁 as they exceed expectations.

This was a great experience for us. We ate a full course meal including some amazing crab cakes. Dessert was also great. Service was friendly and she answered any and all questions with a smile. Highly recommended.

We've been to Buds many of times, but this time they were not on their "A" Game. There were out of the Filet Mignon so my wife got the Ribeye. Not much flavor and more than medium well cooked as ordered. It got loud, usually pretty quiet. People walk through to use the bathroom from the bar. Cream of Crab was not as good as usual, seams to be a different recipe. This wont stop us from returning, however due to the great past experiences at Buds, we thought this review was necessary.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal for our anniversary, I had the veal chop that was cooked perfectly the side was a gnocchi with mushroom and spinach in a bone broth. My wife had the Salmon it cooked medium perfect. The service was excellent very attentive no issues.

Bud's at Silver Run overall is a decent restaurant but for the prices they charge my crab cakes could have been alot better, more shells than I care for and filler plus there was no old bay flavor at all. This is Maryland, home of the crab cakes, comon! My crab soup had 1 piece of crab meat the size of a nickel in it and a few chunks of tomato, very little veggies. My wife's Chicken Chesapeake we've had a lot better and cheaper elsewhere. The only food thing they got right was the salad and the side of veggies which was squash and small potatoes. For $115 for 2 people I could have went up the street and got alot more food and better tasting. Only redeeming factor was our server Amy who was awesome! Keep up the great work!

We ate in the pub and will definitely do so again in the future. The staff is amazing - kind, personable, patient, and great at their jobs. The food was delicious - we tried a little of everything (extra shout out to the corn fritters!). The number of beer taps is limited, but everything they had tapped was quality/tasty - they may have more in bottles/cans, but we didn't even need to explore that option. And If you are looking for something fancier look no further, they have a dining room on the other side of the building!
