The best meal I've had out in a long time! My friend got the Soul Bowl and had only good things to say. I had the grilled chicken with caribbean sauce on the side, collard greens, and mac and cheese. The chicken was seasoned just right and was so juicy. The sauce was a savory sweet with a little kick of heat. The greens were melt in your mouth delicious, and the Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy but not greasy. We also got hush puppies to share and they were perfect. All decently priced- probably under priced. Service was impeccable AND the husband and wife owners came by to see how it was going and it legit felt like chatting with friends. 100% recommend this establishment and 100% will be returning!

If you’re craving authentic, soul-satisfying food, look no further. From the moment you step through the door, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel like you’re walking into a beloved family kitchen. The service is impeccable—friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. Tony or Ashley are there in the mud with their team getting the job done. The food? Simply divine. Every dish tastes like it was made with generations of love and tradition. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, while the mac and cheese is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The collard greens have just the right amount of smokiness, and the cornbread is golden, soft, and slightly sweet—everything you want in soul food. Don’t even get me started on the shrimp and grits, which are absolutely out of this world; the shrimp are tender, and the grits are the perfect balance of creamy and cheesy. Don’t forget the BBQ chicken egg rolls or strawberry crunch cake either!! The portions are generous, ensuring you leave not only satisfied but with leftovers to enjoy the next day. The soul food here isn’t just about eating; it’s an experience—a celebration of flavors, community, and tradition. 10/10. Keep making your dreams come true Tony!!

Still sitting in the restaurant writing this review because our experience was AMAZING. The food was delicious & some of the best food we’ve had out in a restaurant in a long time. Friendly wait staff, delicious cocktails AND mocktails, and amazing fresh desserts. Definitely a date night spot we will be coming to again and hoping to come soon to try their other menu for brunch! 10/10 would recommend!!

We visited for brunch and had one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Everything (even the basic components of our dishes eggs, potatoes) was seasoned excellently and so flavorful. Prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed the Collision Course savory waffles with sausage gravy and The Carter bowl with the fried green tomatoes in top. Our only regret was that we didn't have room to try a sweeter dish, but we will be back.

We left thinking we'll never go anywhere else again for breakfast on a Sunday as even if we were in the mood for a more traditional 'diner' breakfast (eggs, sausage/bacon, toast etc.) they offer that as well and it is bound to be more flavorful and better prepared than any other place in town.

Parking: It was a snowy morning so we parked in the parking garage off Longwell Ave (free on weekends and after 5PM) and walked around the block to the restaurant. This is also a great parking option for those who don't want to mess with street parking on Main St. at busy times.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of options on the brunch menu that would work for kids of all ages. Waffles, French toast or a more traditional breakfast of eggs, toast, etc. We will definitely be back with our kids.

Decided to try this place on a whim. The food was excellent and the service was great despite being busy. I got the fried chicken and my partner got the grilled shrimp- both with the Caribbean sauce. We will be recommending this place to friends and will be back.

I can’t say enough good things about the food and staff at Collision Course! We had an amazing dinner of Caribbean soul food, and guess what? They have tons of vegetarian and vegan options using jackfruit! And don’t get me started on how good the desserts were: banana pudding cheesecake! Chef Tony keep up the great work!

Vegetarian options: They use jackfruit with nicely absorbs all their amazing Caribbean sauces!

I had previously had Collision Course's offerings at the local festivals, so I was very excited to try out their brick and mortar shop. They did not disappoint!

We went on a busy Sunday morning for brunch and had to wait, but were seated fairly quickly. Service was fast & friendly, and the owner Tony even swung by to check in on us.

We had their breakfast egg rolls (get them or the BBQ ones any time you go!), and both got "Everything But The..." (honestly big enough to share, but we enjoyed leftovers). Everything was delicious, fresh, and lovingly made. The fried chicken is some of the best I've had, period.

Collision Course is definitely worth stopping by for brunch (or dinner, I'm absolutely sure)!

Came in on a very cold Tuesday night. The food was outstanding and I do not say that lately. And the price was extremely reasonable . The drinks were also amazing. All we ordered off their special menu for drinks. Had the meatballs appetizers, hush puppy appetizers "bro"chetab which is like a salsa and chips combo with a Caribbean flair. Everything was the right combination of sweet and spicy. Not too much just right. The staff was really great. The owner /chef came out to see us and he's just an amazing individual. I'm sure this place is going to do well and be popular. Get in while you can.
