Always delicious anytime of the year.

Worth the trip from Linthicum, MD. I'm loving the Black Cherry. The employees are kind and respectful, even though the lines for deli n ice can get LONG sometimes. Reminds me of family time with kids n friends. Their ice cream and the atmosphere takes me back to happier times when the back roads were the only way to go, and gas was under $2. Those days are gone, but the homemade ice cream n food is still the best. Take grandmom and the kids, and you'll not be disappointed. And don't forget the Black Cherry, I swear the size of the cheeries are cut in half, not no tiny lil pieces.

I've heard people ranting and raving about this place, but the ice cream wasn't that great. I guess I just got a meh flavor or something.

I never go to Winchester without a stop at Hoffman's. The ice cream is delicious. My go to flavor is black cherry, but my family of 6 enjoys a variety of the flavors. They've recently been doing some freshening up of the ice cream shop that makes it even brighter and pleasant.

I’ve been getting ice cream with my family here since I was in preschool but only recently discovered how amazing the deli is! Affordable, quick, and fresh lunch! The chicken salad is divine! They also have the best candies.

Fantastic old time convenience store and ice cream joint! So many ice cream flavors!!! Our group got 6 and they were all great! You can buy it to take home, too.
