A Happening

I briefly worked here and can tell you for fact that neither the Servers nor the Cooks wear globes when preparing your food. The Servers make your salads and don’t wear gloves. The male manager called Desmond is racist towards whites. One wonders if the owner knows about this. He also accused a long time Server of stealing her tips…from her own tip money. I have seen servers drop food and put it back on your plate.

Horrendous service. Everybody rushes too much and the way they order food on that hand held thing is ridiculous. My waiter asked the black male manager for help and he seemed to berate her.

Food was cold! Juice was weak. No reason for that at 630 AM. With only 2 table, Of 2 people there. Not sure I will be back. such a let down.

First, if you aren't a five start restaurant, and even if you are, whatever happened to writing down orders. It's a bit stressful to have a waiter memorizing my order. I feel like I can't say too much or I'll mess them up and they'll forget something. I much prefer orders be taken with pen and paper, or even a device. And so, they forgot a drink, and they forgot I asked for no butter on the toast. This location has always been slow in serving, but we chose to go anyway, that's on us. After a long wait, my eggs came, pretty dry and cool to the touch, and the toast had butter. I requested another order of toast without butter which came out fairly quickly. I believe they have a stack of already made up toast that they maybe put under a heat lamp as orders come up, but since I needed this right away, it was very hard and cold. I was surprised there was no option for dairy free creamer or butter. Luckily I had packed my own just in case. There was no one waiting when we went in, and not many tables filled. Still it was a long time to be seated, and a long time getting food. Our waitress was polite enough but order was cold and not completely right. Table was clean and we got a booth by the window which was nice, but we probably won't chance going there again.

Dietary restrictions: I was told there was no option for dairy free creamer or dairy free butter.

I gave service a 3. Only because the waitress I had a month ago clued me in on the kids eat free after 4 deal. I tipped her the price of my kids meal plus 25%. Went last Sunday after 4pm. Got charged for my daughter's meal... Plus service wasn't good

Reasons for 1 star:
1. My order was completely wrong
2. The food was ice cold
3. It took 20 minutes just to receive the drink order (the restaurant was nearly empty)
4. There was hair in my son's food
5. Bacon was undercooked
6. On a positive note the staff was nice.

Excellent Tres Leches pancakes. My husband enjoyed his eggs, sausage, bacon and biscuits and gravy. Service was extremely good.
