Stopped in for happy hour today. Nice place to stop for appetizer and drink specials. We had pretzel bites and loaded fries.

Ordered carry out only. Crab cake dinners..crab cakes were top notch. Dining room sounded lively and parking lot was 3/4 full. Order was ready and hot! Next time i go back, i will dine in! If you live in the area, give them a try!!

The food was terrible. Baked potato was ice cold, prime rib was seasoned too much and grilled so you couldn't see the enormous amount of fat until you actually cut into it. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Will not be back.

Won't be back. Fries were great. Cream of crab and crab cake were Meh. Lots of filler. Salad was a decent portion, but was inedible. Service was slow on a mostly empty restaurant. People seemed to be enjoying the bar.

Very good food with a wide selection in this local restaurant that's been a staple in the community for a long time! The extended bar area also has a stage for music and comedy performances, as well as a separate Crab Shack on the property!

Took a group of 35 to Stables yesterday for a Crab Feast. There was a slight mixup on the date (could have been my fault). They sprung right into action and called in extra help. Gave superior service, EXCELLENT food including large crabs and the best corn on the cob I've had.

Shout out to Stable’s for the amazing crabs that were featured at a family birthday celebration! They were steamed and seasoned to perfection!

I would like to give more stars only and because the waitress served us. Food has a decent portion, but the rules they have are absolutely ridiculous. You can't share your food! They give us only 2 hours to eat, no togo boxes. Food is so salty, steamed crabs powered with something salty, and completely dry. Never in my entire life, restaurants in different countries and cities has that absurd rule...no share!!! I thought it was a joke when the waitress noticed us...it was true!!! Ridiculous!! We stopped there by casual and obviously was the first and last time.

Ok so, I've now been to Stables 3 times over the past 4 months and each time has been a disappointment. Cover charges really turn me off so they're at a disadvantage. But also, the crowd is 50+, and not terribly large. The bands they choose are very fun but as of late the dance floor is taken up with small tables like a 1930's style club. The drink list is unimaginative and the service is ok but not exceptional. Tip: if you want me to stay, don't complain loudly about how dead it is. Maybe I'm missing something but to me, it just isn't worth visiting.
