Great food! Owner is lovely and has great customer service. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I ordered the chicken tikka masala (asked for spicy) , garlic naan, and gulab jamun. All were delicious. Everything was packaged professionally and still hot once I got home. I’ll definitely be coming back with family and friends.

This is inarguably the best Indian food in the Silver Spring/Wheaton area! Make sure to get the butter chicken, and Gobi 65 appetizer. You can only do takeout there right now, but it's so worth it! Every time we've gotten food there it's been consistently amazing. Don't miss out!

Try it! Got pick up and all three items were great- Saag Paneer, Jeera Aloo, and Dal Tarka. The saag paneer was mild, as requested. The dal tarka was a little spicy, but complex and tasty, not just hot. Jeera aloo was new to me. Mainly potatoes, but with oil, onions, and spices, it became a fantastic course by itself.

Sort of off the beaten path. However, the food is great and the owner is really friendly. Only carry out available as the owner expressed that he's not generating a lot of business and bleeding money through ad companies. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian food.

Got the lamb vindaloo and it was very good and also happy to find a place for goat curry close to home. Nice gentleman, fast service. Wish they could get more exposure - hiding next to my favorite Vietnamese grocery. :)

This is some of the best food in the area. Not just Indian food, but food generally. The samosa is top-notch, the naan is the perfect texture, and every curry is flavorful and complex. For fellow vegetarians: they have egg dishes that are phenomenal. I had never had curry with eggs before, but the Andhra egg masala is now my go-to.
Great food at a reasonable price. They advertised a kids menu, but we're out of everything, and struck out on a couple of more things. We had the chicken vindaloo, the chicken Tikka masala, and the Malai Chicken Tikka, and some chili garlic naan. Delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall type atmosphere, we ate a late lunch on a Sunday and we're the only ones there.

Ordered Chicken Biryani on Thursday, October 24, 2024, and it was the worst meal I’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant. The food was unbearably spicy, overloaded with pepper, and totally inedible. I ended up throwing it all away—a complete waste of money. Don’t recommend this place; if you can’t cook, don’t run a restaurant.

A friend of mine recommended to try Indian express and boy was he right! I dined in, Kumar was on top of me explaining the food and always checking up. Their shrimp Biryani Was fantastic . Reasonably priced, spiced and delicious. Great customer service. Bring cash if you’d like a 10% discount off. I am looking forward to their buffet in the future. Definitely recommend to anyone!
