The order looks appetizing - however, as I started eating, first two pieces that were not good. The ebi tasted old and the tuna had a bit of a musty taste. This was the case for the rest of the meal. I am very disappointed as this use to be my fave sushi spot. Also the ginger had a bad smell and I threw it out. Disposed of this entire order. No longer my fave local sushi restaurant.

I’ve been going to Moby Dick since 2006 and never a single disappointment. My boss lived in Japan for five years and wouldn’t dare lower himself to sushi in Wheaton. When he finally went with me - well, best sushi he’d ever had outside of the far east. From the basic to the high end roll, you’ll never be disappointed. I live in Bethesda now and nothing here comes close!
We were very impressed with the quality of sushi and the level of customer service - when we got home from picking up our order tonight, we realized they’d forgotten to give us our miso soups and shrimp tempura appetizers while there. We saw that they’d called us to let us know and one of the team had also chased after my husband as he drove away. Anyway, they made it right and we will be a repeat customer for sure! Our kids loved the edamame, crunchy California roll and soups, and we recommend the Sushi & Sashimi combo. Delicious!

Staff is truly kind the meals are simply amazing
This place has been around since I was a kid and I’ve been coming back ever since. This is the go-to spot for me when someone asks for a great yet affordable sushi place. Lots of options and they give you big portions!
I've been going here for at least 15 years and it's typically amazing.
The service is great, staff is friendly.
The Itamae is quick and busy and very kind. My friends and I have spent upwards of $210 (3 of us) lol before tip because the sushi is THATTTTTT GREAT. Highly recommend 15 years later
Great place for delivery and the sushi is very good.

Service is awful. My dad and I went to have dinner there and when the waitress said if we wanted anything to drink we said, "tap water." She said, "we dont have that. We only have bottled water." I said it was ok b/c I had two bottled waters on my purse. I asked if she had a cup with ice and she said, "we dont have ice." I lost it. They were being really stingy at that point. The manager came to me and said that maybe I should order take out instead. What kind of service is that? They have a buisness and arent treating the customers right. Im never coming here again. They are stingy, rude and the manager was worse. She didnt even try to offer a solution. She just told us to order carryout instead. Ive never experienced that in a restaurant before.....ever. DONT EAT HERE.

Great sushi can be found here, small place which makes it a nice secluded area.
