I’ve been going to Moby Dick since 2006 and never a single disappointment. My boss lived in Japan for five years and wouldn’t dare lower himself to sushi in Wheaton. When he finally went with me - well, best sushi he’d ever had outside of the far east. From the basic to the high end roll, you’ll never be disappointed. I live in Bethesda now and nothing here comes close!

We were very impressed with the quality of sushi and the level of customer service - when we got home from picking up our order tonight, we realized they’d forgotten to give us our miso soups and shrimp tempura appetizers while there. We saw that they’d called us to let us know and one of the team had also chased after my husband as he drove away. Anyway, they made it right and we will be a repeat customer for sure! This place has been around since I was a kid and I’ve been coming back ever since. This is the go-to spot for me when someone asks for a great yet affordable sushi place. Lots of options and they give you big portions!
