Amazing food but I placed an order today through Uber and found out they are gone, closed. Don’t order!

Terrible service, rude staff. The order took over 1.5 hours to deliver, even though I live 3 miles from the restaurant. Food was, frankly speaking, just awful. Tom Yum soup was bland, instead of a creamy broth there was a mess of curdled milk, not even spicy. Tom Kha soup had no flavor at all, it was just sour. Fried spring rolls were tough, chewy, and very greasy. Only Pad Thai was edible, but shrimp were peeled poorly. This was my first and definitely the last order at this place. Not recommended.

Tasty food (not salty) with a variety of options to choose from. The customer service was excellent and the space was clean. Comparing the local Thai restaurants in the area, this was the best I've had thus far. The space is also very cozy.

A regular for my family, they are able to accommodate vegetarians by leaving out the fish sauce.Service was quick and helpful. It is take out only but they let us open the bag and eat there.Green curry was very tasty and the “spicy” had a good blend of heat and flavor. I eat ghost peppers almost daily so I can’t be honest concerning the amount of heat.It is different than other Thai restaurants as the green curry is served with fried tofu on the side so I ate it like soup as there were minimal vegetables. We will return, as usual.

One of our favorite Thai restaurants in the DMV area. Went for dinner after almost 6 years. This place was our go-to place as we loved the Thai food there. After so many years this place still serves great food. The place got a makeover with new cozy looks. The tables are small for groups but the restaurant is not super busy, so they can be combined when needed. They have great beverage options for a restaurant in this not-so-fine dine-in category. The waiter was swift and the food was made quickly. Our favorite dishes are spicy basil and green curry fried rice, pumpkin empanadas and fried Tofu.We would love to visit again!

This place when it was “Thai Taste by Kob” was amazing. Still decent, but quality has dropped. Some dishes are on point where others significantly fall short. One particular disappointment is the crispy pork meat option which turns out to be breaded pork fat with very little actual protein, it rendered the dis it was in inedible.

Some of the best food I've had in the region. Always a delicious, consistent and delightful experience. I've been coming here since they opened as "Thai Taste By Kob", and consider this my go-to place for home-style comfort food. Through the pandemic to now, they've kept becoming better and better.

Actually we had sushi at Norito, which is at the same location. They share the dining room and you get separate checks for Thai and Japanese food, even from the same server! Both are great. Highly recommend!

Pull into the nearest parking garage and you can walk to this and two other Thai restaurants. I've now been to all three and I love them all! But let's talk about Thai Taste Express.Nestled in the back corner of a small but tidy parking area, a small staircase leads to a surprisingly heavy-to-open door door. Inside you are treated to a delightfully cozy and immaculate dining space. There is a sushi bar and, the back corner is a comfy sitting space with a couch and coffee table with a variety of Asian cookbooks and other reading materials. The menu offers the spectrum of Thai dishes that one would expect to find. The surprising discovery was a section of Bangkok Street Food. We ordered crispy spring rolls, Pad See Ew, and Kao Moo Daeng, the last from the Bangkok section. Everything was excellent! Flavors were bright, balanced, and rich.Thai Taste Express will now be a regular part of enjoyment of Wheaton's amazing Asian food scene.

Just stopped by Thai Authentic food. Hidden gems place. Thai Taste Express by KOB. High recommended.

I got the Maryland rice and the crab was overcooked.... Not worth the $20 especially since I could see the seasonings sitting on top of the rice in the center. The flavor wasn't consistent throughout the rice. It would've been better if the seasoning had been mixed in completely by the cook and the crab added at the very end as to not overcook it. I also got the chicken lemongrass soup as a side. The soup itself had a nice flavor but the chicken in the soup was overcooked.

BEST THAI FOOD IN AMERICA!!!This place does not look like much from the outside, and the inside inside is very clean and modest...but the food is so amazing and flavorful. We ordered 5 separate dishes, and they were all amazing!

Ordered from here for the first time. Mediocre food. My husband and I got tofu fried rice and shrimp fried rice. Tofu had NO seasoning- not even salt so it was not edible. For the second order, there were just four small shrimps. That's it! Yes I paid extra for shrimp! The spice level was not okay- the spice level is not explained at all in the app. Just not ordering from this place again. We chose this because Lamoon Thai was not delivering today. If you want a better quality food than this- try Lamoon Thai!
