The food was great. There was still a strange smell inside but not as bad as the last time I was there. I think you should give it a try.

Welcoming. Consistent. Great food. Great service. I can sit down, get my whiskey and feel comfortable. Whether I have my Kindle, my computer, or come to socialize - it's always a good choice to come. Oh & don't miss St Patrick's Day here. The food and music is everything it should be!

Great classic Irish pub, and you often see multi generation families -- young children to grandparents -- having a meal and a good time together. I especially enjoy the live music they offer there.
Vegetarian options: Bangers and mash with vegetarian sausage is a good choice, and they also offer a pretty good vegetarian curry.
Kid-friendliness: It's common to see families with kids enjoying a meal at the pub.
Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on one floor.

I visited this pub last night with friends to watch the Copa America game. I got to the pub first as my friends were finishing their dinner at the restaurant next door. When they came in to join me, the bartender (Billy) came towards them very aggressively, pointed at my friend, who is black, and started yelling that they needed to get out of there as they were not allowed to eat their food inside. What my friends had were boxes of leftovers with no intention to eat there. We were just coming for drinks.
My friends and I were just intending to watch the game and spend our money at the business. The bartender did not ask any questions, he did not explain the policy (even if we were not intending to eat our leftovers there) did not offer a menu, he just came to us and yelled at my friends telling them to get out of there.
I asked for the manager’s contact - Elijah Spottswood and called him. I started to explain the situation and he hung up on me.
I am appalled at the way we were treated, and at how the manager has or has not handled this. This is not just very poor customer service but this felt like discriminatory behavior.
I had a horrible experience at this bar. My friends and I dropped in to the bar ready to order a few drinks and enjoy a soccer game. The bartendar yelled at us and asked to leave. He didn't ask if we wanted to know about the drinks specials or if we were interested in ordering foor /drinks. So sad this how Irish culture is reprenented.

Great atmosphere
Excellent fish and chips
Great meal here with a large group of friends. There is a bar, a dining area and outdoor seating.
Great Irish atmosphere and even better food. For starters we had the Shepherd’s Pie Potato Skins. Delicious! Then we moved onto the Guinness Beef Stew and Shepherd’s Pie. Both were absolutely fantastic and honestly the best Shepherd’s Pie I have ever had. The stew was also excellent full of flavor and fresh vegetables. Others had the Fish & Chips which looked yummy and will be my choice on my next return. The food here is authentic and worth the trip. I was full so I did not do dessert (a rare occurrence) but could have chosen all of them. (Banofee, Apple Crumb, Warm bread pudding and Chocolate Pot de Crème). Some nights have specials running on Mondays through Thursday, so check it out. Our night was Prime Rib Wednesday.
We were served by Luis. Great service and very friendly.
Also a group of musicians showed up and just started playing Irish music. Really added to the atmosphere.
A great experience and I can’t wait to go back!

I'm a fan of Limerick Pub. My Ruben was perfect. Unfortunately, they were out of a few things and took a few can favorites off the menu. This pub continues to bring the Irish Pub feel, which is why people should go. I'll always return.

This has been our go to place since it opened years ago for burgers and fries. But what has happened. Used to the the burgers were hand made, not frozen/defrosted and the fries were hand cut. No longer. The fries were pretty poor, fried/frozen and the burger was pedestrian. Of course they still have live music and good micro brews and whiskey. District Bistro nearer to Wheaton Plaza is teamed up with Frank's Burgers and frankly does a lot better at a higher price point. You get what you pay for, sometimes.
Parking: Wheaton has enforcement until late evenings so failure to pay the meter can be an expensive dinner
