“El Cielo made our Valentine’s celebration a memorable experience! I wanted to surprise my husband this year and the CCO, Pedro, was very helpful when it came to helping me with last minute reservations. The entire staff was friendly, eloquent, and very professional. My husband and I are both Spanish speakers (it is our mother tongue) and we loved interacting with the staff in Spanish (this made it so much more special to us). Now, as for the food. Let me just start by saying that when I told my husband what our dining experience would be like, he was very skeptical. He is an amateur fighter, and when he is not doing “fighting camps” he LOVES to eat. When we arrived he was already making plans to go eat arepas after, to finish filling his tummy. Needles to say, arepas did not happen after, as he was extremely full from all the courses. Each meal was beautifully presented, and tasted just as divine! We loved knowing what each meal represented and they are all a beautiful homage to Colombia. The atmosphere in El Cielo, is very cozy. The aesthetics of the restaurant itself makes you feel like you are eating at a friends house. From the decorations to the music. Y para terminar, usando las palabras de mi hermoso esposo después de finalizar nuestra cena “Parce, toda esta comida estaba tan rica que te hace sentir que estás en el cielo”. “I’ve been coming here for about 5 years. The restaurant is small but clean and the staff is always friendly.I always get the Chicharron con Arepa, Arepa Pabellon, or Arepa de Camaron. The arepas are always good and made fresh to order. This is not “fast food”, so if you are in a rush, I suggest placing an online order.If you are a fan of flan or tres leche cake, give it a try here. You can tell that they make the dessert in house. Both are very enjoyable!Street parking and garage parking are near by.“
“Awesome authentic Colombian food for great prices! Highly recommend the sancocho and ajiaco (delicious stews).There's some seating but it's definitely more of a take out place.Parking: No dedicated parking - just metered street parking. We got lucky and parked on the same block.“
“Came to this place with my boyfriend we got 3 shots , 2 orders of wings (can’t remember how many but it was either a 12-20 piece) and some stuffed jalapeños or something my boyfriend got anyway we ended up spending 100.00 which i didn’t care because the food was AMAZING! The wings was good af and the 1942 made it even better. I’m coming here from now on. Great vibe and yes it’s a little expensive maybe to some but there is plenty of places that’s cheaper. This right here has GREAT customer service which is the MAIN reason i want to return. The waiter with the glasses was GREAT as well. Give that man a raise.“
