Highly recommended! We are from highlandtown and ate here all the time as kids.we finally got out and came. I'm glad we did. I had the absolute best sandwich I've ever had. We will be back! Lisa was great! Thanks again!

If you paid attention to the news on this place back in 2021, they moved here from Highlandtown where they had been for 94 years. Well, we couldn't be happier to have them out here now and this is definitely one of our staples. I know that their schedule is (currently) a little on the short side, but the owner was telling us yesterday that they're about to expand the hours and also add a few extras to the menu. Their (red/MD) crab soup is awesome but my wife is looking forward to cream of crab so she can get some half & half.

The husband and I went for a late afternoon lunch. The hotdog and fries with gravy were delicious. My husband had a crabcake platter and said its the best crabcake he has had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

First time eating here. I thought the food was expensive for the small portions The onion rings were over &7.00 for an amount that fits in my hand. I have had better ones elsewhere. The Coney Island hot dogs are okay. The sauce is bland. My husband likes the hot dogs.

Stopped in for lunch and of course I had to get the Coney Island dog but also got a crab cake sandwich which was out of this world . All lump crab meat without any filler . I highly recommend you try it . Andy has stepped it up a notch with the food and decor at the new location , plus parking is not an issue .

G&A Restaurant is an iconic and long-standing name in the Baltimore, Maryland area and a great place to grab some hot dogs, french fries with gravy or pretty much anything off of their menu. The menu is pretty straight forward, there is nothing fancy here. It is pretty much what you would expect from a greasy spoon type restaurant that puts an emphasis on hot dogs and things like that. Service was good and the food was good. The fries with gravy were so satisfying and the hot dogs with chili, mustard and onions were also very good. My client had a club sandwich and it looked pretty good. All in all, I would definitely recommend here. If you find yourself in the area and want a simple, no frills lunch, head on over to the G&A Restaurant and grab yourself a meal here. Don't forget to get an order of french fries with gravy, they are definitely the side to go with.

Food is pretty good and priced well, went in for breakfast on a weekend. The place is smaller but the side is beginning to open to expand the seating. I just wish I could order carry out for dinner. The place currently closes at 5.

I love G and A, so I was happy that they made a location closer to me. I came here over the weekend and got a Cuban sandwich. The pork was amazing! So tender, juicy, and flavorful. Perfect amount of melty cheese. Onions were cooked perfectly. A little heavy on the pickles but aside from that it was amazing. The location is nice and clean, with friendly staff. Absolutely love it here!

Totally pleasantly surprised. I knew they did Coney Island hotdogs and gravy fries, and i regret that i never made it to their old Highlandtown location. But I know this. It is hard to find a place my young kids agree on, until we went to G & A. As simple as hotdogs and burgers to many other diner favorites like club sandwiches, grilled cheese, cheesesteaks, and more this place has many options. They even have crab cakes, MD crab soup, brisket, and more. I did have a coney and some gravy fries, and i don't regret it, it was good. Everyone was happy and the service was super friendly and fast. We will be back!!
