Food is amazing and they have a great variety to choose from! We make this a regular stop every time we visit the area and will definitely be back next year!

I've tried 3 different thing here and was underwhelmed. To be clear the people were polite and the service was well and good.

Now admittedly I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I've been able to enjoy other bakeries just fine. It feels like their philosophy is "throw more sugar at it".

Lemon bars. Tasted like sugar with a hint of lemon with sugar on top. Zero tartness.

Blueberry muffin. Had fewer than 10 blueberries in it and was devoid of blueberry tast.

Blueberry cream cheese croissant. Probably the most sugary croissant I've had in my life with an anemic blueberry cream cheese filling.

If your a sugar addict with desensitized tast buds this place is probably for you. Otherwise there comes a point to much sugar actually starts to tast bitter.

I have a theory they have substituted real ingredients like fruits for more sugar as a form of cost cutting.

On a side note, I have not tried their pre-made meals yet.

Sorry to be a debbie downer. Just my honest opinion.

I go to Maine every year and one of my very first stops is to go to the Abbott Village bakery. Their donut and pastry selection is unbelievable. We had White meat, chicken pie, raspberry pie, Whoopie, pies, incredible, coconut, donuts, date bars, And so much more I can’t list them all. They have breakfast sandwiches, ready to go as well as great coffee! I usually place a big order to go and call it in the day before so everything is ready and fresh. Great place to go!

Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp.

Stopped in for some donuts and they were worth it. Fresh large donuts. I got traditional glazed, it was soft and perfect. My husband got an apple filled and said it was amazing. We also got a caramel bun for the ride to try later, it looks awesome too.
