I recommend everything. Gritty’s never disappoints. Great food, service,staff and beer. Also the bar knows how to mix a drink. Very scenic views on the river.
After a very full day of exploring from Calais, Maine to Saint Stephen, Canada, then Bangor and finally Auburn… Gritty’s Pub was our “please feed us, we’re tired” stop. 😂
We grabbed takeout because we were running on fumes, but this place definitely made me wish I had a little more energy to stay and enjoy it.

Fun, friendly spot with elevated pub fare. Our servers were very friendly and helpful and everyone in our party from the carnivores to the salad eaters left full and happy!
